What is it like to play for Coach Dye?
It’s great, he’s a coach that is always keeping us motivated and pushing us to become stronger and better men

Coming off such a big 2022 season, are you preparing any differently than you have in the past?
Yes, I'm really starting to take everything more seriously knowing that I can be better than I was a year ago.

What are your personal goals for the season and your biggest goal for the team?
Just be a better player and teammate for personal goals, but the gold ball will always be the team's number one priority.

What shocked you the most about the 2022 season?
How the team succeeded with the number of injuries and young players.

Which game sticks out the most to you from the 2022 season? Explain.
West Jefferson, because I really felt like it was my coming out game that really showed people that I can be something.

If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be? Why?
No punting, make the game more fun and competitive.

What is your opinion on the transfer rules in Ohio regarding high school football?
I have no problem with the rules and think they don’t bring any concerns to high school football.

What are your thoughts on 16 teams from each region making the playoffs?
I like it because it gives us more of a chance to play in the playoffs.

Where do you feel the state finals should be held?
The Horseshoe.

Why should your number be called when the game is on the line?
Because I have the confidence to always make the play every time.

Looking at the road games you have played, which stadium is the hardest to play in? Explain.
West Jefferson, because we have a long drive up there and we know we’re always playing a talented team.

What game are you looking forward to most this season? Why?
Greenfield, because most of my family’s from around there.

What is your favorite genre of music, along with your favorite song, and who sings it?
Country, Morgan Wallen, Sunrise
