As a Tri-Valley fan, I wish the game was AT Sheridan. Tri-Valley has won 8 straight games AT Sheridan.

The last 8 games at Tri-Valley between these teams has resulted in 4 wins for each team.

2019 Tri-Valley 38-21
2017 Tri-Valley 24-14 (TV was Div. 3 State Runner Up)

2013 Tri-Valley 55-19
2011 Tri-Valley 38-14
2009 Tri-Valley 34-20
2007 Tri-Valley 35-6

AT Tri-Valley
2020 Sheridan 33-0
2018 Tri-Valley 20-19 in OT
2016 Sheridan 42-24
2014 Tri-Valley 34-0
2012 Tri-Valley 63-13
2010 Sheridan 42-14

Both teams are in the playoffs and have a first round home game clinched. Winner of this game is in a great position to take the number 1 seed and get two home playoff games.

This game is what High School Football should be about. Big Rivals, both teams are usually pretty good each and every year. Should be a great ballgame. Hope for an injury free game for both teams. Not going to pick a winner cause I'm pretty sure I would be wrong.

Sheridan 14
Tri-Valley 13

As good a HS football game as you will ever see. Sheridan scored the winning TD with 3 minutes left in game.

Both teams left points on the field. Both D's played great when teams got in the red zone.

Key moment in game was went Sheridan missed a FG with a couple minutes left in the first half and TV was flagged for roughing the kicker. I was watching the ball and didn't see it. Sheridan scored a couple plays later.

Both teams good enough to see each other again in week 13.

May enable Jackson to slide in the top spot. Maybe. A win at Chillicothe. I have no clue how Jackson couldn’t be #1

Jackson will be #1 in R11 after beating Chillicothe next Friday. I'm not so sure #1 spot is a good place to be. Looking like some of the best teams in the region could be in the 4-5 and 8-9 spots when week 10 is done.

One note on the TV-SH game. TV had a two way lineman (sophomore) break his foot in the first half and is likely done for the season. A man on the football field. His dad was a D1 lineman.

It's really just a matter of when you face Watterson. That's assuming Jackson gets past Granville in round 2 and Bellefontaine in round 3. The region is loaded !

The TV lineman that was hurt during the Sheridan game did not break his foot. Should be back week 11.
