I don't know how Burg has made it this far without a quarterback. They won't go far in playoffs. Slow making decisions, sorry arm.

So proud of how Valley fought tonight. 35-14 burg wins.
If are ifs…. Whatever. But you take away a few mistakes and we in this game all the way.
What an effort from a team short on numbers. Great job kids and coaches.

I sure don't know if Burg was looking ahead to next week's showdown with West but this was the worst game Burg has played all year I dont know if the coaches were trying new stuff or what but wow !! I sure hope Burg plays better next week !! But I give Valley some credit for continuing to battle all night !! Worst 2nd quarter by Burg all year 😪 sad

The Pirates looked off tonight for whatever reason and still managed a 3 score win. I’ll take that. Valley came to play and made a game of it early in the 3rd but two more scores by the Burg put it away.

Valley played about 14 kids and went toe to toe with them for about 3 quarters. A lot of people questioned Nolan and this staff after the Waverly loss but the kids are fighting for them. Very proud Indian tonight. Beat Minford!

Valley came to play and Burg was looking ahead thinking this would be over by half!! Didn’t happen. Burg happy to get the win tonight now move on to the big game against West!!

I look for Valley to beat Minford and make the playoffs in DI. Valley doesn’t want to end up in the 16th spot and have to go face Marion local in week 1 of the playoffs!!

Burg jumped out 21 points. Was dominating the game. Was about to kick a field goal when valley made an amazing block for a return td. Went to half 21-6

Valley gets a great return second half on the kick off and throws a td 21-14

Then burg buckled down and put it away in the third. 35-14

Wasn’t pretty but burg was never in trouble. Burg tried a lot of different sets/play after going up by 21. Some were successful but most were tough to get off.

Coaches should have called a time out on that FG attempt. You had a man running in late and that made them rush the kick.

You’re right but it’s good to put the pressure on them. They got the kick off but there was a breakdown on protection for sure. Great play though by the valley kid.

Sloppy for sure but got it done! Valley has some nice lineman and some good athletes at the skill positions just no depth dressing 24 tonight

Why are the numbers down at Valley?? Hard to keep fresh players in the game with only 24 players dressed!!

They are pretty close to each other. I think OH dressed 18 when they played Valley, with a couple injured standing on the sideline.

Hard to get practice in with that many. Both teams are fighting hard with what they have.
