Trimble is very disciplined. If Fairland overlooks the Tomcats, it could be a game. Trimble is extremely young but you can bet that they won’t beat themselves. Good luck Tomcats.

Fairland big, running clock. This is not your normal Trimble.

I have no idea but I bet it's been a great number of seasons since a Trimble football team has started a season with an 0-4 record to start the season.

Fairland's coach will set players after the first series of the 3rd. Don't see one of those crazy scores here.

Fairland names the score. Trimble starts 0-4 for the first time in two decades as mentioned above. Even still, Trimble could take the hocking yet again with a week 9 win over Waterford but we will get to that later on. Good luck Tomcats and stay healthy.

Another rough week for the Cats. Hopefully bounce back week 5.

It has to suck to be Thimble right now. Taking some beatings already and probably going to take another one on the chin this week. The good news is Fairland won't pull what Thimble does and run it up on a bad team. Also good news, Thimble will most likely win the Hocking even if they go 0-5 to start the season. What kind of first round opponent will a 6-4 or 5-5 season bring them in week 11? Could be a tough first round for them too.

In R23 I could see them playing Coal Grove, West Jefferson, or maybe even NY again. With a 10-16 seed there are some teams that will finish around 7-3 that Thimble could beat. Don't know if it'll happen, but some of those R23 matchups are going to be mighty interesting.

Rebuilding year for the Cats. Take what you can say from each week, stay healthy, and try to win the Hocking.

Fairland rolls unless the referees try to keep it close. Too many athletes from Lawrence county to chase around. As Urban Myer says “Speed Kills” and that’s what the kids from Chauncey will get a taste of. Best of luck to fellow TVC but this one can be a back breaker.

At some point, everyone has a down year and this is Trimble's down year.

Rooting for the Tomcats but expecting the Dragons to win.

With that said, Trimble COULD run the table once they start the TVC Hocking schedule.

Good luck and good health to both teams.
