Do they even have a playbook? But I do agree with you that the coach prolly wouldn't like this. Even if the two QB's were "sharing snaps" now Athens knows which one to prepare for.Lonesome Polecat wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 11:49 amSo it’s ok to put this years team at a disadvantage because Etta hasn’t had many winning seasons? In that case can we see their playbook on here?Tee Higgins wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 11:37 amNo offense but Marietta has had less than 10 winning seasons in 40 something years. I dont think this needs to be said but this will not affect the outcome of the game.Lonesome Polecat wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 11:11 am
I bet the coach loves having you share that online

Re: WK 3 - Athens (0-2) vs Marietta (0-2)
Series History:
Meeting 62
Marietta leads 43-13-3 (results from two games in 1907 are missing) with the first meeting recored back in 1905.
Marietta has won 6 straight
Athens coach Nathan White is being inducted into the Athens HS HOF at the game for his multi sport playing career. He is still currently looking for his first non-conference win (0-13 includes playoffs) and what a special night it would be if he gets it.

Glad the Tigers got a win. I hope they stick with Warden at QB.
Re: WK 3 - Athens (0-2) vs Marietta (0-2)
Really hoping this win is a turning point for the Tigers season. I know they are running the wing-t now but they still need to be able to throw the ball. They have some good athletes so hopefully they can get them the ball. Schedule is manageable with the exception of Williamstown.

It was a great win for the players and staff and should be a confidence builder going forward. With that said, it was an ugly game of football and both teams still have a long way to go. Felt more like watching a JV game with the youth and the mistakes that with come with it. Getting Lieras-Kelly back at WR was big. He is a great athlete and will be the main target going forward for the young QB.boss8 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 10:31 pm Really hoping this win is a turning point for the Tigers season. Looking forward on the schedule, at this moment I think we beat Ripley. Lose to Cambridge, Williamstown, and Brooke. Claymont, Meigs, and Warren are all winnable, but we will need to play better than we have the past couple of weeks.
Re: Athens 7 - 12 Marietta 2022
Ripley’s best player transferred to St Mary’s, I think they’re pretty down. Cambridge and Brooke will be very very tough like last year.
Re: Athens 7 - 12 Marietta 2022
Marietta has a good running back but he has one problem…his dad!! Dad will keep moving the kid for a better deal. Dad fails at everything and qualifys for zero…shaky past!!!
Re: Athens 7 - 12 Marietta 2022
Marietta has a good running back with only one problem…he has a bad dad!! This guy cannot qualify for anything and he wil ruin his kid. Dad had a loud opinion and a unprofessional opinion. His background check disqualifies him for everything good. The kid will move to another hs soon.
