Fumble on Jackson…running back jumped on it, quick whistle, ball squirted out and gave it to Hillsboro

100% flat out wrong call.

Good win. Second quarter was fun. Good seeing kids getting in there early for starts and doing well and good seeing kids gets reps in the end.

Wolford
Broermann
Johnson …….soph, soph, freshman, we have some running backs for the next couple years I’d say.

Winters was on point….threw some tremendous passes and had 3 drops and 2 PI’s not called for two more incompletions. Had issues with center exchange but that will be fixed.

Play calling wasn’t very obvious. I think the other league coaches just said “crap”….Jackson tougher now to prepare for.

Lost 4 drives to penalties ….one was crap it appeared but still.

Good luck to Hillsboro

Hillsboro isn't very good... That's all I got.

I hope we work on our catching skills next week. I know we just started throwing the ball again, but it was baaaaaad. I believe the first three drives ended with dropped balls for 1st downs, and a touchdown.

And the fumbled snaps , this is varsity football not peewee . 4 fumbled snaps is 4 too many. Ouch

Agree. Also a lot of the time, especially in a blow out win such as this, penalties ( 4 holding calls ) are still way too many. I realize that " holding " can be called on just about every play if they want, still it seems to be a pattern so far this year with the Ironmen. I just hope that it doesn't come back and bite them in a close game, just about the way that it did in the game against the Burg.

Something is definitely not clicking with the team. I feel like we should be further along than this

We'll get it figured out. We have been playing with 2 QBs up until this week.

I hope so man. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit worried. It’s week 7 we don’t have much time left

So we’ll get it figured out with the back up QB?
