School's lose players every year to graduation. I'm sure TV lost some goodies as well. I want our old SEOAL RED brothers to be victorious in this one, but I'm going to have to go with TV. Sorry brothers. GIVE IT ALL YA GOT! GOOD LUCK! GO RED!

I remember they squeaked by the Chiefs up on the old hilltop. Man was that ever a good game right to the wire, Raider.

Agreed , just stating that Jackson will return most of the starters. A lot of youngsters getting first varsity minutes. But I agree good programs reload.

One of the best games I’ve been to. That QB that beat Logan is now the coach at TV

He was also a staring DB at Mount Union.

Tri-Valley's skill position players are mostly 2 or 3 year starters. Graduated some key linemen last year. Broke in some younger guys on the line after a butt kicking by Sheridan. They have played like their hair is on fire since that game. TV has been in a reload situation yearly for about the last decade or so, 2021 might be a rebuild year.

I find it hard for the Ironmen to come out on top this week, but with excellent leadership from Aden Strawser and Blake Cross on the offensive line they might be able to fire the troops up and punch it down their throats. Need to have a near perfect game, but this ironmen team is not to be looked down upon.

So, You are saying no matter how well Jackson plays...
.That all Tri-Valley has to do is put a mediocre effort out and they beat the Ironmen on their home field by 14+???
I guess I didn’t really mean to come off that strong but as I consider it, I really doubt Jackson wins this game. Sorry

All good. I did not take it Ina offensive way. I just wanted to confirm that you were giving the kids at Jackson a 0% chance of winning this football game.

Im taking jackson people talk about the FAC strength I believe 100 percent if jackson played tri valleys schedule they would be 6-1 also.as bad as it might have seemed at the time i think the chillicothe loss was a small blessing that will give jackson the extra motivation to win this one

no competition don't gotta compete, I'm already winning this isn't defeat 😵

Agree 💯 on the Seniors, very tough group of Ironmen. They’ve won a lot of football games for Jackson and they’ll come ready to fight. I have a feeling they’ll leave alumni stadium victorious Friday.

Reminded me a lot of Ashland/Ironton last year (2019). To me Ironton was a different team after that all the way to Kirtland. Hopefully, you are right and it does give the Ironmen a shot of motivation.

One thing not yet mentioned (but I bet coaches have)...Jackson had 15 penalties last game. There is really no way that isn’t crippling in trying to win. There will always be a couple holding calls, a full start or two, maybe an encroachment but 15 cannot happen and survive. I know the coaching staff is on it but wanted to put it on here as it’s a big factor. Last year it seemed the personal foul penalties would come at bad times....they’ve really improved there but need a pretty clean game to beat Tri Valley

These two teams are similar in that regard. Loaded at their skill positions. Both teams have had to retool up front compared to the standards each has set the last decade or so.

Jackson has an edge at QB, Tri-Valley an edge at running back, and the receiving corps. should be pretty even. I don't know the health of both teams but sure that will be a factor.

If it weren't for COVID this is definitely a game I might have mad the trip to watch.
