Spires over 200 yards rushing, 2 TD, great kick returns, blocked a punt. Graham was over 100 yards and 3 TD..he was big! Icenhower great runs, takes and passes, knocked away a TD...Ice keeps getting better and better. 2 TD in air as well. Winters was huge. 2 interceptions, one for TD but called back, rushing TD and several tackles...quite the big game player in his young career! Oline, wow....people crying about how bad the line as earlier lol. Fools. Parks big, Mastin big....Treylan Davis looked like a D1 player and 2 receiving TD. Teams all year lucky we didn’t use him much offensively in the pass game. Dline great again. Kickoff team and kick team great.

Awesome game players and coaches

Great run down I92...….spot on all the way through...…we were very physical tonight and it showed.....Centennial RB looked so much faster in person....he was fast on film no doubt....but the first time he carried it tonight on the edge I thought WOW that was a heckuva lot faster than through the computer screen....they had some nice athletes and congrats to them for their first ever play-off appearance……I chit chatted with some former Centennial players that had played back on the mid-2000s to the latter of the decade...some still lived local and some of the former players were off in other locations.....but they met to make sure they came to see their schools first ever post season game...…If they don't or didn't know who the Jackson Ironmen were before tonight ...….safe to say they'll never forget now and will always know who the Ironmen are...….I took in their bands halftime performance and its not too many times we face school that as comparable in the band department....Logan is the only school I recall consistently with band numbers close to ours...…centennial band very big and put a nice show on top of the hill...….great way to start the post season...…

when you think we will know where its going to be held next week????
I think OHSAA announces Sunday afternoon but we’ll hear sooner

Can we get lucky n get the chilly venue ???

How many rushing yds for Ice? Had to be quite a few. Didn’t he have a rushing TD too?

Just got back in C-bus from the game. It went pretty much how I figured per previous posts and Centennial dressed 22 players and 2 or 3 of those didn't see the field. The only thing I didn't understand was with a 4th qtr running clock up by 40 + why keep your QB in until 6:00 left and Spires was still in the game with around 5 minutes left to score his 2nd td ? Centennial was beat when they came out of the locker room at half down 14. Jackson did tie a record for points scored in a game matching a defeat of Waverly in the SEOAL regular season in 73'.

I may be wrong but I wonder if Centennial's band may have had trouble finding the Stadium. They came marching into the Stadium after the Stars had already taken a 7-0 lead in the 1st Qtr. I know that someone had mentioned that there band was an excellent band. Considering how bad the weather was and all, I thought they were one of the best visiting bands that I have seen in a long time.

Centennial was much bigger and faster overall than Jackson . Centennial has a real nice back and some other good weapons . Jackson just way to physical and are peaking at the right time. Very unselfish kids who could care less about anything but winning football games. Enjoy it and and get back to work Monday.

Talking to a couple of their fans they got lost on the loops with 50/32 & 35 somehow and headed back towards Chilly and had to turn back around. I guess they can figure out the 1,253 major arteries & turns in C-bus but not the 3 way in Jackson.

Thanks, I was wondering if something had happened. They were an excellent Band.

When it’s all said and done, Jackson might lay claim to best team in area this year. Congrats! That was a statement win.

I checked my phone once last night working around the house and it was knotted up at 14 I think or something like that and the next thing you know I wake up and see the Ironmen hang a 70 spot. Geez man these guys seem to be on fire as of late, good time of year to put a run together. Good luck next week to Jackson.

How does a team win 9 games in the regular season only having 20 players on their roster in DIII? And then get waxed 70-28 in the first round.

Congrats to Jackson on the big win.

I've been wondering this very thing in terms of number of players on the team. I mean we all talk about the local DVII schools fielding numbers similar to what Centennial has and they are a DIII school.

Solid team , some real nice skilled kids . Maybe the best back we’ve faced all year. Depth for sure an issue for the Stars but they ran into a buzzsaw. This wasn’t a 70-28 game . It was a 48-21 game that spun out of control.

Good win for Jackson, stayed through most of the 3rd quarter but let's face it 25 degrees is cold and not real used to that yet lol. Good luck to them against the JA Pioneers next week.

We talked about that at the game last night, for a Div-3 school, I was told that they only asked for 250 tickets. They may have that many fans, I doubt it though. They did have a good sized band though, 115-125 I would say.
