First off it's faster than . Secondly, comparing wcc athleticism and speed to kirtland is laughable. Kirtland is at an entire different level and although wcc is a good and athletic squad they're no where near kirtland

Central has to many weapons to stop them all
McGee and Murray are just 2 of the better ones in WV Class A actually WV any class
Murray will knock your block off, 2 time WV Defenses Player of the Year
Central will spread you out to give McGee running lanes from the shotgun
Then put 2 TEs and go to the WingT Spinner Offense in the same drive
Waterhouse is a above average RB tough to get on the ground

FF will have a advantage up front on defense side
Major question "Can Central hold their blocks to use their speed"
Central's Loss was to a BIG LINE Linsly by 31-7

Central has beaten:
Williamstown (4-1) 35-13
Steubenville Catholic (3-2) 39-12
Shadyside (3-2) 31-27
Hudson Western Reserve (3-2) 48-7

If FF wins a bunch of 2nd level Harbin points
If Central wins with FF being Class A 6 ranking points plus most likely 9 bonus points for FF finishes (9-1)

I'm glad Parkersburg is open this week so I can drive the 25 miles to Beverly to watch this matchup in person

Linsly used that huge line and physically destroyed WCC. Cadets have to come out physical. Remember a few years back when Fort plays Steubenville Central @ Home and everyone said they’d lose and they were up 43-8 at half. I’m not saying that’s going to happen but the kids from Fort are fired up.

You can’t use Linsly in any comparison. There’s a difference for your regular area high school to come out and be physical and for a team like Linsly to do so. They have 4 possibly 5 D1 lineman. Linsly would handle FF just as they did WCC. This will be a close game regardless I have WCC in a barn burner.

No they are not as big or elite talents as Linsly up front. That being said this is Fort Frye’s best line since 2016. Shadyside had a ton of success running the ball and I think Fort Frye is better then Shadyside.

I can truly say I have no idea what’s going to happen. I know Shadyside played them to the wire. Fort beat Shadyside last year. I think Fort is better this season.
