What are your thoughts on Warren vs Marietta? Can Warren handle Marietta’s speed?

This will be a closer game than people are saying. If Marietta can’t establish a run game, Alkire will have a rough night. Warren by 7.

If Warren handles the ball they just might pull this one out.

Warren 1-0, Marietta 1-0. After seeing Warren . The boys from Warren have confidence. Everyone says Marietta but dont count Warren out. I think we will see the ol rivalry come out in this one. Warren 34- Marietta 23

I have seen tape on both of these teams. I'd have to say Warren appears to have more athletic options. It will depend if Warren can stop the run. i'm sure Warren will stop their passing game. With that said Warren has a better passing game too!!
After watching Warren's O-line, I'd say they will handle Marietta's defensive line pretty good.
It will rely mostly on warren's D-line to make some big plays.

Time will tell.

GO BLUE!!!!

Marietta returns so much from the team that beat Warren 55-21 last season. Marietta wins in the trenches. Hard to believe that Warren is “more athletic”. Marietta has Tony Munos the most athletic kid on the field and Corbin Alkire.

As someone who has watched both teams, I’ll take Gandee and Simoniette over Munos every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Also, it’s easy to look like world beaters when you play Morgan. Just my opinion though.

Yea because a 13 point win over a (2-8) team is so chest pumping.

Marietta is winning this game.

You may be right, but they won’t roll like they have in recent years and they’ll feel it come Saturday morning. Warren’s days of getting beat 55-21 are over.

Marietta May win do to the the superior line , but I totally disagree on the most Athletic kid on the field . And it’s not even close

haven't watches any thing on Warren this year. With Marietta I watched their scrimmage with Logan and I didn't see this speed that some say Marietta has.

Warren's back 4 were all athletic from what I saw from them Friday night...they also have a couple DE that are quick and strong and have some length to them...so this game will be won by those boys manning the middle of the line on both sides of the ball....it should be a very good game..my heart says Warren but my head says Marietta by 10, just because they return so much experience and they are at home....as always let's go BIG BLUE!!!!!

Usually a pretty good crowd, should be better since both teams are 1-0 and Warren isn’t horrible this year.

All you have to do is watch the Marietta vs Logan game. That should tell you all you need to know.
I’m not sure what the score will be but I’m sure it won’t be as bad as last year.
I’m not going to run any kid down but I do believe Warren has a few better athletes on both sides of the ball. Munos is a good ball carrier and Corbin is a good qb but i still think Warren has more options.
Having watch Warren vs Morgan scrimmage I’d say Warren Dominated them more than Marietta did.

Again Morgan is a very young team and not very good so it really is hard to compare.
