Got beat by teams that went on to win the State title.....Made a few or more post seasons. Re: Where does Logan go from here?
Logan shouldn't talk up their winning percentage over Nelsonville/Nelson York due to the school sizes. But NY should talk up their wins over Logan. Like Logan talking up their wins over Lancaster.

YES!Chief02 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 6:34 pmBeyond the years of the Conrad’s, Logan hasn’t had much postseason success. You are correct. Doesn’t mean we haven’t had good teams throughout the regular season. The Angle years were good years. I think the point made earlier about kicking you know what and taking names is at least getting back to that point. I would take going 9-1 and drubbing a few teams with superior talent and coaching over 1-9 and getting drubbed.55buckeyes98 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 6:04 pm I'm not discrediting the Logan program in their development 7-12, just saying they played in Nelsonville because Logan did not have tackle football far as I remember and im just jealous they didn't play in Nelsonville. My point was I don't remember much other success out of Logan in the post season...

Hope to see Burke go over the next few weeks! Or Maybe the school board should go also!
Re: Where does Logan go from here?
A new coach was just what the doctor ordered for Gallia. I don't know if that's what Logan needs right now. But I hope they can right the ship soon.

Too bad, Logan could have probably had that Gallia coach if they approached it better.

Why?....Can't talk up when Logan beats them if they don't play....Just what I heard, hear say that Logan was the one that wanted to quit playing them a few years ago....noreply66 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 3:06 pmThe rumor is over Logan doesn't play them anymore9.5 INCHES wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 1:45 pmHow many times has Logan played Lancaster in the past?.... Re: Where does Logan go from here?
We have a hard time hanging with teams like Meigs due to our current situation. Of course we would not play Lancaster anymore.

Re: Where does Logan go from here?
Rough times yes... but better times will be around the corner...would have gotten beat by Lancaster here recently with the situation, but getting beat by everyone else anyways.... Why drop Lancaster just because they are down times.... Right up 33 and good competition that may benefit Logan...Tough games get a team better and more ready for what's ahead...JMO....
Re: Where does Logan go from here?
Oh I agree 9.5. I think there are two teams we should have on the schedule every year and they are Lancaster and Athens. If it can’t be Athens, then it should be Jackson. Good, regional rivalries that have good gates. I would love to see the financial reports for the gates since the stadium opened to see the long term effects of our scheduling and our lack of competitiveness have had.

Agree...It just don't seem the same not playing Jackson....Not sure, but I think I heard someone saying Logan will be playing them again....Not sure when, I've been out of the loop too long.... Know one thing though....Logan football hasn't been Logan football lately, big problems abound in different areas.....
Re: Where does Logan go from here?
I believe we pick them up again starting in 2020 for a home and home. I may be off a year or so on that.9.5 INCHES wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 7:07 pm Agree...It just don't seem the same not playing Jackson....Not sure, but I think I heard someone saying Logan will be playing them again....Not sure when, I've been out of the loop too long.... Logan plays Jackson the 3rd game next year. They are the opener in 2020.
