It will be a tight game. Jackson may be favored, but FU plays hard.

Don't beat them too bad, we have them next week. :o
Got a hunch they’ll be coming home winners this year !
Will the Jackson bus drop off Yates and the Spires boys after the game since they’ll be going through VC to get home? Or will they make them ride the bus all the way to Jackson and then make them drive back north late at night? Seems like they’d just drop them off to save them the extra drive time.

I guess if Jackson was going Rt 93 you could giggle about that but if Jackson goes through McArthur on the way to Fairfield Union....then they are as dumb as your attempt at humor.

If you look at google, the quickest and shortest way to get there is going up 93... so?

Well Jackson hasn’t taken a bus on 93 to Logan in 15 years so not sure why they’d go that way to FU

Even if it was half the distance I would avoid driving Rt.93. Daylight is bad enough driving it let alone afterdark. I will say that years ago that they probably did use Rt.93 for trips too Logan.

They are being let out of school an 1hr or 1.5 early, they are either going up to circleville and taking 22 to Lancaster or 32 to Athens and hitting 33. those are the best ways to go up, but they take a little extra time but the team is getting let out an 1hr or 1.5hr early before school let’s out. they are not taking 93, if they do then I agree it would be absolutely stupid because everyone would get sick, they all got sick going to new lex because they went 93.

Heres another alternate route. hit 33 at Athens and exit on state route 13. sr 13 will lead you right up through New Lex. take a left onto US 22 west bound at Somerset.

Don't do this... i grew up in junction city and would take 13 to Athens sometimes, its much longer. Especially now with the bypass and going 70 on 33.

Agreed! 93 is not the best route to take.

Good job by the Ironmen in taking care of business. 34-0

Rushing attack was solid and defense just everywhere and mashing. Special teams were improved.

Jayden Spires and Matt Humphreys just look to be on another level when they are on the field. Yates had some nice runs, Parks looks like an all-district player. Brice Graham and Ty Ruckel in on a lot of tackles. Caden Humphreys getting a couple big punts and some big snaps outside of special teams. Trent Wolford has shortened things up and drilled his extra points.

I saw a lot of improvements, a bunch of continued good things. Seemed a bit flat early on, some unsuccessful sweep type plays and maybe a few too many passes for this particular game....but happy with what I saw.

Keep it rolling

As I thought it would go.
Jackson will face much tougher later, but for now it is good to see them smashing the lesser teams.
