I decided to start a thread to get everyones ideas on Who would you enjoy seeing on your teams schedule? Sparking old rivalries that have gone astray? Or Spark new rivalries to make for great football matchups.

I have a few matchups I would enjoy seeing.

1. Valley vs Ironton (New)
2. Wheelersburg vs Ashland KY (New)
3. Portsmouth vs Ashland KY (Classic Rivalry that disappeared)
4. Portsmouth West vs Ironton (Always had physical Matchups)
5. Jackson vs Ironton (Classic football rivalry)

I do recall Burg playing Greenup in the early 2000's. It wasn't much of a series and horrible gates. It was very lopsided.

I hope Meigs and Gallia keep playing. Even though Gallia dominated in the later years and I understand why they dropped them, I loved that game.

I think this would develop into a nice rivalry.

Oak Hill and Wellston will be playing a jamboree game beginning in 2016, but I agree this should be a regular season game every year.

that's right. because it cut the Ironton faithful deep to see the Burg beat Russell and Ashland now that Ironton can't handle them...
