😂 I think 14u and 14svt/cobra is the same person 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you guys crack me up! And a few people posting the same things as to copy cat each other but trying to use different words. Yes, everyone knows all football fields are 100x50 yards anywhere you go and Burg will play on any field (they ain’t scared) as for this weeks game, I have to agree with a few already posted opinions like when Burg gets this far it seems they shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers galore! Hopefully not this year anymore. I think this past game may have given them a wake up call for this years playoff road to state. IF, Burg plays the way they can and the coaches do what they do best, then this true Burg team should win this Friday........IMO, 42-14 as a fair score. GO PIRATES

Burg once gave up over 20 once to a Waverly team that scored late in a 62-20 loss, all "quality" opponents Johnnies played they gave up over 30 except for the 28 by a over rated Licking Heights team.

You guys beat a Academy team that has never been in the playoffs Johnstown has playoff experience and these boys are on a mission and ready to play I see a lot of pressure on Burg next Friday and messing up and Johnstown capitalizing on it
Also Those boys were hitting hard last night I could here the helmets cracking you better hope you can stop # 5 if not he will be gone

This is an opinion: I think Columbus Academy is the second best team in region 19 and burg is the best. We will know if this becomes a fact Friday night...

Wheelersburg: 29 appearances, overall record 31-27, 1 state title (1989), 0 State Runnerups, 6 Final 4's (2015, 1998, 1994, 1991, 1989, 1981)

What does jownstowns playoff history look like! Oh btw you can make it 30 appearances and 33 wins and counting...

And???? I'm sure those aren't the only 2 teams that presented running games against JM. What because it's Burg attached to the name all of a sudden JM won't be able to slow down or stop a power running game??? It's already been stated JM will have a size advantage inside. Burg used a power game against an undersized and fast defense because the other stuff simply wasn't working. What makes you think they're going to go into a game against a team like JM, who's capable of going toe to toe with a power running game, and win that battle instead of using the advantage they know they have speed??
Will
Goose, I agree with almost all of your post. However, ca defense was not undersized. They were some big boys! Much bigger than burg. That is the first time burg has lined up in a heavy set and played smash mouth football. Honestly they ran it very well. Simply because the burg kids were stronger. They have been stronger than their opponents in every game. I don’t see that being any different this week. Johnstown will not run the ball on burg the way they ran on their other opponents. Burgs dline is too fast and strong. Is Johnstown don’t pass and let burg stack the box it will not be a pretty game.. ca d line was very fast and brought 7 on every play. Burg oline knew they were stronger and decided to run the ball. Enough said. I don’t think Johnstown’s d line is near as fast as ca’s. Burg will be fine in this game.
Haha I love it I guess you haven’t seen how fast Johnstown defense is ask the West fans they will tell you
And Johnstown o-line is big
Averages 245-310 but that doesn’t mean anything
As a West fan that was at the game last night till the end.
I think Burg wins this one. Both teams speed on defense is very close. Overall I think Burg has more team speed.
