But this week thay will face D4 Cambridge, followed by D5 NY (146 boys), before finally capping off their last non-league contest before SEOAL play by taking on mighty D7 Shadyside which they outnumber 5:1 (a whopping 96 boys enrolled there).

Chief Paladin's Chieftain Envy Tribe doesn't back down like the other weak SE Ohio squads do and run from competition, nope, they mount there steeds with full headdress and war paint and charge straight into the teeth of the enemy chanting their Run From Competition Dance (not Rain Dance) to all the other weak SE Ohio schools that fled their beloved tribe for weak competition.

As the Chieftain Envy Tribe smoke their peace pipe and sit full circle they convince themselves that they must go south and east not west as their trusty steeds will not know the way to Pickerington or Gahanna or Hamilton Township or Marion Franklin or Lancaster or Circleville or any one of a hundred other "Columbus" schools in the 33 corridor...it is the rest of SE Ohio that is no where close to these schools so mentioned that should travel there and play better competition but not the tribe of Chieftain Envy.

You squeaked by one of our TVC Ohio "weak" teams albeit D4...better tune it up this week before heading to TVC Ohio "weak" D5 NY.

Some of the Logan people have been on way more than the peace pipe lately. They have been on the arrogant pipe lately, especially their "inner circle of feather pullers." Too many chiefs up there and not enough Indians. Good luck if and when you make the playoffs; you're going to need it. The teams you play have a combined record of 12-18 right now, and the last two teams you play may only win one game together, and that's because they have to play each other.

Logan sitting in the #2 seed spot early on after three weeks in D2 Region 5.

Think they move to 4-0 after this week from the looks of it, and Athens; Teays Valley; Meigs should all start to pile on some secondary points for the Chiefs.

Good Luck to Logan this week.

The QB is the leading rusher and has the most rushing TDs. The whole offense goes through him. Pretty good athlete.

Do McBride and Little go both ways for Logan?

If so how many others see reps on both sides of the ball? Are the O-Line and D-Line same personnel generally speaking or are they different kids?

The Bobcats are in trouble. They still have some athletes over there. Their problem is they are weak where Logan is strong -- in the trenches. The QB is an athlete but they haven't seen real tough teams yet -- thats ahead with Zanesville, Dover & New Philly. Canton South is a wimp.

If Logan stays with what they have been doing, McBride and Little will run up big yds. Cambridge should be a better D team but probably can't stem the tide forever. Logan is bigger and badder. The Bobcats should make the Chiefs work but a solid effort will carry the Chiefs.

Chiefs by at least two scores.

NUTS!

Look for Meigs to compete and might just win the TVC Ohio along with Athens and N-Y! Arrogance! Yes we support our Team. We provide a lot of extras and the Boosters support all sports Teams! All I hear form so call experts from outside of the "Inner Circle Hocking Co." is excuses and oh by the way Excuses are for losers!

Don't think McBride played a snap on defense last week against Meigs. Would guess he has played 15-20 snaps at LB all season.

Little plays a little more - but still not a ton. Bring him on third downs and in the last two minutes of halves/games at DB.

Up front, Logan is playing 7 players consistently (with an 8th getting a little bit of time). All 7/8 are rotating on both sides of the ball.

When Logan starts the game, 2/4 D-linemen don't play offense and on offense 3/5 don't start on defense.

The center plays every snap on offense, but the other four o-linemen all get breaks throughout the game. A 9th linemen plays a little bit on defense, but haven't seen him on offense yet.

Thanks, Locos not a lot of chatter about this one as you would expect, not many Cambridge fans on here obviously so trying to get a little insight.

Seems like running the ball with McBride then throwing it up to Smith in the endzone and letting him go get it about the corner has been working the first 3 games!

Cambridge is lead by QB Josh Lewis, 6', 190 and their RB Hayhurst, 6'2, 180. Hayhurst looks skinny and I'm guessing he is closer or 170. Not flashy. Worse, their lines are made up of short, fat, overweight kids . If Logan puts the muscle to them, I see a quick start for the Chiefs. I'd also call the Bobcats secondary weak and expect Burke to go after them. I'm being generous calling a 2 TD Logan win. Could be much worse.

Logan offense has sputtered the last couple of weeks - of course if Smith hauls in the deep ball that went through his hands on Logan's 2nd posession in the third quarter the purple could have blown the game wide open.

TV and Meigs did a nice job of "containing" McBride. He hasn't been getting the LONG runs we've seen over the last three years.

Defense needs to continue to improve. We need better play from the linebackers. Smith is a difference maker at safety.

Lewis is the man to stop for CHS. He doesn't have the weapons around him that Bartrum did last week, but I think Lewis is a better runner and overall athlete. Bartrum the better passer.

Logan should win the battle up front, coaches are doing a nice job of rotating up there on both sides to keep guys fresh.

Logan doesn't have to play long ball so much. Shorter passing game can get the yards and open it up for McBride and then you say Hello to Smith.

in watching some of the game film on cambridge. #13 (qb) is the whole team. if we can stop him they are stopped. the o-line looks slow and the run game is almost none existent. other then a lot of qb keepers. the d-fense is about 50/50.... slow off the ball. they look good at time, really bad at times.
imo, Logan should be able to take care of business.
30-14 Logan
