Week 4: Cambridge (2-1) at Logan (3-0)

Post by OICU812 »

After beating Canton South, Cambridge moves to 2-1. Logan squeezed by an underrated Meigs team 27-22. Thoughts on the game?

I hope the Chiefs defense starts out better in this one. Cambridge looks like they will come to play hard ball. They are definitely no cupcake. Chiefs will have to get it together a little better to get the W. GO CHIEFS!

I don't know much about Cambridge.
Hopefully the Chiefs can get their special teams cleaned up and if they do then I'll say Logan by a TD

Cambridge has had some really solid teams at times over the last decade. This is not one of them. They have beat 2 not very good teams. I would guess that at least 2 of the 3 teams that Logan has already beaten could beat Cambridge. I'm expecting a 14 to 21 pt. victory for the Chieftains.

The D2 (467 boys) Logan Chieftains are now in the meat grinder portion of their non-league schedule having just squeaked by D4 Meigs (196 boys).

But this week thay will face D4 Cambridge, followed by D5 NY (146 boys), before finally capping off their last non-league contest before SEOAL play by taking on mighty D7 Shadyside which they outnumber 5:1 (a whopping 96 boys enrolled there).

Chief Paladin's Chieftain Envy Tribe doesn't back down like the other weak SE Ohio squads do and run from competition, nope, they mount there steeds with full headdress and war paint and charge straight into the teeth of the enemy chanting their Run From Competition Dance (not Rain Dance) to all the other weak SE Ohio schools that fled their beloved tribe for weak competition.

As the Chieftain Envy Tribe smoke their peace pipe and sit full circle they convince themselves that they must go south and east not west as their trusty steeds will not know the way to Pickerington or Gahanna or Hamilton Township or Marion Franklin or Lancaster or Circleville or any one of a hundred other "Columbus" schools in the 33 corridor...it is the rest of SE Ohio that is no where close to these schools so mentioned that should travel there and play better competition but not the tribe of Chieftain Envy.

You squeaked by one of our TVC Ohio "weak" teams albeit D4...better tune it up this week before heading to TVC Ohio "weak" D5 NY.

Maybe we should make handy dawn a foe so we wouldn't have to see what he puts on here.

I believe this in Logan's game to lose.
Play your game and you will win, as easy as that sounds, we all know this is not the case.

Logan by 12.

What's Logan's records against teams away from the SE district again? I keep forgetting they're actually a part of this area due to their arrogance. By the way, what happened to the SEOAL? Even more importantly, what's going to happen to Logan when they sneak into the playoffs and get smoked by actual competition? Some of the Logan people have been on way more than the peace pipe lately. They have been on the arrogant pipe lately, especially their "inner circle of feather pullers." Too many chiefs up there and not enough Indians. Good luck if and when you make the playoffs; you're going to need it. The teams you play have a combined record of 12-18 right now, and the last two teams you play may only win one game together, and that's because they have to play each other.

Arrogance?? Scroll back up the thread and see who messed with the hornets nest. Dandy Don has been at it all year so far coming on Logan threads with his 10 foot stirring spoon. What dog do you have in this anyways, Mr Vorhees??
