Bricker was injured a week ago at practice. He did not play against Trail last week. It was a non contact injury, just one of those things you can't really explain. Bricker is obviously a huge loss, a returning all-ohio back and the most versatile player on the defensive side of the ball in the area. I've watched Bricker work his tail off in the weight room and in the gym for me the past four years and will miss him this winter as well. His work ethic and character are outstanding. I hate that he won't get a chance at what will still be a special season for this team but he will still be a big part of it. Adversity is part of sports, these kids are winners, they'll respond

The loss of Bricker will certainly have a huge impact on Caldwell, but I still like their chances. Clark is still behind center and Ivey is a bull. We have a couple other backs that are talented and can share the load.

Still think it will be hard for Fort to go into Woodsfield and win with a freshman QB. The kids not your normal freshman but it's a tough task. Cadets also have a huge game on Friday

Although its hard to predict the rest of the season I say the top spot is up for grabs come Friday.

Monroe gets the league title back Friday night. We gave it away last year.

Look for the Redskins to get Monroe again this year. Caldwell is playing well

Have not watched Kilburn so I can not say he's the leagues best DLineman but Anthony Winters is definitely the Cadets best player. He currently has 9 sacks in 3 games and has been a monster feel free to watch his highlight reel. http://www.maxpreps.com/m/career/videos ... d2ff81b6c7

For Monroe Central to win I'd throw Alleman at the Redskins all night, but QB Hooper is going to have to play his best game yet.
If it's close at the half I give the Seminoles a shot, but if Caldwell jumps on top early the Redskins could roll easily.

After week 4 rankings:
Caldwell
Fort Frye
Monroe Central
Shenandoah
Buckeye Trail
Frontier

Could easily flip Doah and MC at this point.

I completely agree with your assessment right now. We will have to see how things play out on the field.

1. Caldwell- they proved last night they were legit
2. MC - still think we are one of the best in the league
3. FF- beat MC or Caldwell then we'll talk
4. Shenandoah
5. BT
6. Frontier

MC and FF looks like it should be a great game. Caldwell is legit but I have seen Danville 2 times this year and I don't see Caldwell or anybody else coming close to them in Region 25. They are stacked and a legitimate Div 7 state title contender no doubt.
