WOW.....Ironton has quite a jump which is amazing since the past two years thay had smaller than normal Freshmen classes :? .

Boys - 174 to 238
Girls - 161 to 255

Coal Grove went from in the 120's to 205? How did that happen? Our enrollment is down according to our board office.

These numbers are crazy looking. It appears a lot of the local schools have had a huge influx of boys.

Fort Frye 128 to 147 and there's no way FF got bigger

No way that the schools in Scioto country grew that much are they figuring the numbers different than they use to.

Well ... Athens is no longer the 'BIG FISH' in the TVC ... Vinton County is ... lol

Athens didn't change at all ... 297 ... still 297 ... I tried to ship some boys off to Fed Hock and Alexander to get down to DIV - but they weren't having any part of it ... lol

It looks like the numbers for some schools include all 4 grades, instead of the 3 that are used to determine the enrollment figure.

Well, if these numbers are right, there should be some additional teaching jobs in the area. I remember the last count, Valley had a big drop in enrollment and had to let some teachers go, so this should justify adding some.

Principles have until May 6th to appeal this numbers,,,,,,,I think there just might be some appeals.

Yea like just about everyone! But then again that means a lot more state money that will come to Southeastern Ohio. Well if that is the case Ohio Department of Education will challenge the numbers because that much money can not go to the part of the state that the rest of the state would like to send to WV and KY. :mrgreen:

New Division IV 216-287 and hmmm, Bishop Watterson enrollment goes from 294 to 277.

New Division V 114-158 and hmmm, Youngstown Ursuline enrollment goes from 159 to 158 and makes the cut.
