Congrats to the Chiefs! Hold your high high seniors! Helluva accomplishment. Many had you guys written off before the season even started. Great job proving the doubters wrong! Congrats to Coach Burke as well. Not a bad start at LHS at all. Well done sir. Looking forward to 2014!

Congratulations to the Chiefs, Coach Burke and mostly the senior class. Class is the word that really defines them. I liked the way they rushed to the student section to celebrate with them at the end of the game. They had this game won before they came out of the locker room. You could just feel it. Kudos to Warren also. They kept hitting hard when they could've just quit. But the night belonged to the Chieftains.

Shocking! And Lancaster must have been full strength because the LEG article didn't mention any signifcant injuries,the heat is on Carpenter in Galetown! They might try to lure Billy B away from us.

Lancaster's defense had nothing to stop the pass game and Newark stopped the run

After a 10 week lay off these are my reflections on the season FWIW;

Big Hats off to the Senior Class for Logan. When they walked out with #11 on their shoulders I had goosebumps!! I turned to his mom who was in tears and said "That's the greatest thing I have ever seen!" Very Very Cool. #11 will be a better person and will look back on his Senior year with more memories of good things than bad IMO and the one that will always stick out will be the only player in LHS history to be carried out thru the L.

It was a long season in our house dealing with an illness, an allergic reaction and then a torn labrum. But #5 stuck it out and battled through all of it and will better in the long run for it. As a parent I am very proud of him for the way he handled it.

Congrats to the Coaching Staff. These guys have dedicated their lives to this program and deserve to be applauded for their efforts.

Very impressed with Coach Burke and his way of doing things as a parent of a player. Senior Day on Friday he allowed the players to bring their Dads in and they were allowed to go thru the day with their Sons and see what they go thru and I think he showed a video and other cool things before the game and they were allowed to stand on the sidelines with the team during the game. To me that's just the tip of the iceberg as to the new very cool intangibles hes putting in at Logan.

Losing 20 plus Seniors will be a huge hole to fill for Logan not only because of the leadership and the minutes they played but because they are truly a great group of kids. They stuck it out, battled thru three very long years with little reward to come back and win the SEOAL. Best of luck to all of them in the future!!
