Struggled with the pass too. A weak 8 seed passed for 380. 453 total yards. It looked bad because it was terrible. You're lucky their defense couldn't make a couple stops in the 4th or you would be waiting for next year.
Logan Elm was the best team to play the bullpuppies so far this year!

Didn't Fairland play Athens a good game..Their defense seemed to better than LE

His dad is a College coach, played at Nebraska, played in the NFL on the Packers. Just appreciate we get to watch him play. This kid has done nothing but win at Athens for football and basketball. But I'm sure paladin knows more about college football than the Burrow family lol

big time d1 cant wait until February national signing day

I watched that game on Nelsonville TV Cable and Fairland did not have a defense what so ever!

Get all the information you need on tomorrow night's game in the LoganFootball.com Media Guide.

Inside are team profiles, schedules, rosters, season stats, and projected starting line-ups for both Athens and Tri-Valley.

You can find the media guide at www.loganfootball.com and clicking on the "Docs" tab. You can then download the PDF.

Should be a great game with a big crowd. Looking forward to it.

Should be okay at the stadium itself. Always have trouble inside the building, and the first few years it was tough to get service at the stadium, but its been much better this year.

Rumor is Ohio St. is coming to watch the 6 Athens D-I players. Lots of scholarship offers on the way ! Burrow rumored to play for Dad's team but the other Athens "stars" are up for grabs ! Better polish up that Regional Championship. Here come the bullpuppies !

Word on the street is tOSU is also going to offer Palodian a job as head scout. After all, he is the one that turned them onto all those Athens D1 recruits. Heck they may even have him take over as recruiting coordinator cause after all, no one knows D1 talent like he does.

I am not going to get to Logan until about 6:00 pm. I assume the TV side will be full by then and likely will have to sit on the Athens side.

Just and FYI to the Logan folks, it is not uncommon for TV fans to be lined up at the visitor's gate before school is out when it is a big game. In 2007 and 2009 I arrived at Sheridan at about 3:15ish and a couple hundred TV fans were in line a head of me.

I wish both teams an injury free game. Hope to see TV win. If not, I will congratulate Athens. Marion Franklin awaits the winner of this game and has a whole new set of challenges for the winner of this game.

RAIDER6309 wrote:Logan Elm passed for 283 and rushed for 120. 400 yards of total offense. Athens passed for 501 and rushed for 184. Usually when u have 300 more yards than the other team, it isn't close. Turn overs kill.

Team Stats LE AT
First downs 23 30
Rushing yards 44-130 37-183
Passing yards 323 498
Comp.-Att.-Int 16-34-0 26-35-0
Total yards 453 681
Fumbles-Lost 4-3 5-4
Penalties-Yards 5-45 7-80.5
Punts-Ave. 7-28.7 1-49

Just thought I would post the actual stats of that game which clearly show LE turned the ball over 3 times and Athens 4 times...not exactly what I would call lopsided. Also you'll notice some discrepancy in your rounded off stats. Athens had 228 more yards than LE. Athens offense is the real deal, hands down the best I have seen this year but defense is very mediocre at best.

Notice: all puppies fans (Both teams are puppies!,) come early eat, party and spend your money in and around Logan, We need to feed the big fish! NOW on to the game day prediction! Look for a very close game with defense and ball control, mistakes and turnovers to decide to outcome of this game with the winner getting Marion Franklin! The winner better enjoy because the next game will be the end of the road!

Bullpuppies 45
