#8 Logan Elm (6-4) @ #1 Thurgood Marshall

Post by LoganElm_grad09 »

Logan Elm is going to Dayton to take on Thurgood Marshall High School. After going 4-4, they beat arch-rivals Circleville and Amanda Clearcreek to sneak into the playoffs. The braves bring a team that is well coached and has big play capability.

Thoughts?

This could be ugly quick...for all the reasons Logan Elm didn't want a school south of them in their league they are going to get a steady dose of it this weekend.

Logan Elm didn't have a problem with Chillicothe coming into MSL. They play Chillicothe in most sports, already.

Marshall wins this one. LE should be pretty good next year if it can get more consistent on defense.

Thurgood Marshall is a juggernaut, they are the odds on favorite to win the Region and a legit contender for the D3 state title. Logan Elm would need a near perfect game to pull off the upset here. Good luck to Logan Elm!

I heard TM pretty much just runs the ball and does not pass much at all. I would imagine LE coaches know this and will prepare to stack the box, however speed is something LE has had trouble with all year. Coach Bart is a very good coach who always seems to make excellent adjustments to whom his kids are playing, this could be quite a challenge for him this week. Good Luck Braves leave it all on the field and represent your school, fans and league with pride and determination...but most of all have some fun out there.

This one will get ugly. Marshall will outclass LE badly.

That's what everyone thought when TM played LE in the State Basketball Tourney and LE almost pulled it out. Anything can happen on any given night and TM really didn't play anybody decent this year accept for Winton Woods
