Anybody know how serious Warnimont's injury was in second period last night? He does so many things both ways.

Well, the Ironmen weren't able to hold up their end of the bargain last week to make this a winner-take-all game, but the SEOAL title is still on the line. Jackson hasn't been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, but there's virtually no chance for them to get in. They're simply playing to beat their biggest rival, and to claim a share of the SEOAL championship. The Blue Devils have a share of the league title already, but after the last two losses to Jackson in Week 10, they certainly want it all to themselves. The Blue Devils aren't a complete lock for the playoffs unless they win, but I think they'll be in the top 8 no matter what they do against Jackson.

We all know what's at stake. We know that neither team/school/city likes the other that much. Many times, the team that's better on paper doesn't win this game. It's just one of those rivalries where crazy things happen most of the time. Memorial Field is a tough place to win, especially when Gallia Academy is this good, and I'm sure the atmosphere will be intense.

Jackson has certainly had its struggles this season. They haven't been consistent offensively or defensively, they've battled a lot of injuries, and they've lost some heartbreaking games. None of that matters now. It's a one game season to claim a share of a championship. The Ironmen MUST play well up front. The Blue Devils are a physical football team. They're gonna try to run the football, and they're gonna try to shut down Jackson's running game. If the Ironmen don't play physical and play with an attitude in the trenches, they're not going to have much success. Senior Night didn't turn out well, but now it truly is the last chance for many of these guys to put on the Red & White. There's no better way to end it than to go to Gallipolis, win, and come back to Jackson a champion.

Must play well or this could get ugly.

Need a mean streak this week. Get a little ticked off.

Represent.

Should be a good football game. I think both teams match-up really welly with each other.

Almost mirror images - both teams have great dual threat QBs, both teams have 3-4 good running backs, both teams need great plays out of their front lines, both teams have solid special teams, especially place kickers.

I think Gallipolis is playing better football at this point in the season. GAHS's defense was absolutely lights out on Friday night at Logan. Jackson has a habit of playing to the level of their competition.

Hard to pick against the Devils at home, but I don't see a blow out either way.

I believe the Ironmen will see a repeat of the Wheelersburg game this Friday. Chillicothe, as beat up and bruised that they where shut the Ironmen running game down, and don't even get started talking about the passing game. Everybody blames the offensive line for not getting their blocks, but sometimes the running backs need to learn that they cannot run through a wall of lineman. They need to run to the outside! Passing, well we just have to wait for another year for that. On defense, they need to tackle, plain and simple. Wrap up, not bump the player running the ball, they need to attack the player with the ball!

Defensively, we need to turn it up one more notch again. Good play against Logan but we missed making a few plays that Logan took advantage of. Offensively, we will see an aggressive Jackson team with something to prove, so we have to have the right play at the right time. I think we come out on top of this one by at least 7 maybe 14.

The only way the Ironmen get the win will be turnovers or untimely penalties that go their way which we all know will not happen on that field.
It pains me to say that the Devils are playing better ball.
I'll still root the Ironmen on but it's gonna be a long night I suspect.

Well, the Gallia players have seen the pictures of the car that Jackson bashes. Misspelled Warnimont and dissed Memorial Field, and by dissing the Field your diss everyone who's ever called it home. Better believe Gallia is ready to roll some Jackson heads.

Lol

Before those pics the Gallia Academy kids didn't care about beating Jackson.

Who cares?
