Jvs pretty much finished sv had a pick 6
Rv snapped the ball thru endzone in 4th
Good Job vikings
Was more competitive than the final score.
Rv had 0 turnovers
Why would JVs play after three with only a two touchdown deficit? Anyway, the offense just needs to continue to work and eventually they will start clicking.

Not to be a smart aleck or anything, but how can you throw a pick 6 and still have no turnovers ? That's an interception.
By the way, did Symmes Valley have any sustained offensive drives ? I heard it was mostly special teams mistakes and Symmes Valley getting great field position most of the night.

Point taken!
I meant to say none by 10 and the First unit.
Symmes Valley had 1 11 play drive.
A 60 some yd punt return, horrible block in the back in front of the official.
a couple long runs.
I think if you ask Symmes Valley folks they will tell you this was a physical game both ways.
Symmes Valley is a good team, real nice backs big line, a playoff caliber Div 6 team,
I think South Gallia Beats them!

Raiders are improving!
realistically They could win the next 3 games?

RV had 200 yards passing at least.

Don't think they will beat Chesapeake or South Gallia for as big as they were not real physical, nice QB,couple good backs.
OL and DL were not impressive?
The yards and big plays came on missed tackles and little holding down field.
That is the WORST Officiating Crew I have ever seen! Both ways!
They have to go read the rule book several times during the game. LOL

River Valley had 142 yards passing. They are a improved team from last year.

I figured that s.valley about doubled them up in yardage, raiders played better but have to eliminate the big runs and mistakes that lead to big plays.
#10 whobrey looked more comfortable in the offense threw some nice passes,i like the play calling by rv coaches.
s.valley might be the 2nd best team that rv plays all year i don't think anyone is better than peake on the schedule.

get better raiders, keep your heads up

nice win s.valley

Responding to some posts up above:

-River Valley is an improved team this year and seems to have good fan support.
-Agree with referee crew, very poor overall performance.
-Even though RV is improved, they really were never a threat to win this one.
-As far as Chesapeake is concerned, we'll see this Friday. A lot of people gave us no chance at winning last year either.
-As far as South Gallia is concerned, it is just really a crying shame that this is the last time in the foreseeable future that these teams will meet in the regular season. This has been a good rivalry for both football and basketball for years.

I agree that it is a crying shame the SV-SG series is ending. The 2 schools are so close they should play in everything. Especially when you consider how far SG has to travel for conference games. This would have not even been an issue had SG been accepted into the SOC but a couple schools voted no. I heard 2 of the schools that voted no don't even play football and reside in Pike county and the 3rd was in the other division and would not have even played SG.

40-12 It is what it is. It always amuses me how people try to say a game is different from the out come. IT IS WHAT IT IS.

Fred,
First off, my comments here have nothing to do with the RV-SV game. That score may or may not be indicative of the competitiveness of the game (I don't live in either district & don't care). But, to deny that the score can be misleading sometimes isn't very intelligent. Scores often are misleading. A team can score a couple of late TDs against the JVs and make a blowout look like a competitive game - or, a team can play even with another team, only to have a couple of long runs/big plays make it look like a blowout. Any sports fan knows that scores can be misleading.

Voice,

Agreed - it's just in this case the score was not misleading.
