This years senior class, has no superstars, just hard
Working kids, this group might surprise some people
Always a group that has been overlooked , this senior class
Is coach eddy's 3rd, and they understand his system
Line play will dictate how they finish, college prospects
Steven Adkins and branson Barr, along with Aaron (Ed )
Guisinger lead this line. Three year starters Brandon Taylor
And Drew young bring experience to the backfield , zack
(The sackman )Tackett is a all league player in the making.
Look For Bryant Bokovitz, Joel johnston and caleb craft to have breakout
Senior years. Sidney Saunders and Dallas moss give size and
Strength to this team. As a parent of a senior on this team,
I hope this group achieves all their goals, and has a big bunch
Of fun, afterall it's what high school sports is all about when you
Are seniors . Good luck boys, have a healthy , winning
Senior year.

I've seen schedules from different sources with differing opponents for that Sept. 2nd game. Licking Heights and Licking Valley are both up that way, but while Licking Heights has a respectable program, Licking Valley is a traditional powerhouse. Can someone please check and confirm which of those two schools we're going to play?

Hey 83.... I thought it was Licking Valley that we played... But I just visited both sites and we are listed on the Licking Heights football schedule for the 2011-2012 season..... Licking Valley is scheduled to play Zainesville on Sept 2..

That's what I thought. That's probably good for us. Licking Heights is far from being an easy opponent, but I'm not sure we'd have much of a chance against Licking Valley unless they were having a really down year.

Good info 83, let me throw some more trivia at ya....... Licking Valley 279 Boys....D-3, R-11..... Made Play-offs 9 times since 2000..... 8-2 last year & Made Play-offs... Lost games against Zanesville (9-1) & New Albany (10-0).... or your second choice Licking Heights 336 boys......Moving up to D-2, R-7 this year... 7-3 last year not making play-offs.... made play-offs 2 times since 2000..... On paper our best choice would be Licking Heights.... Would be underdogs against both..... But anything can happen....

The thing about Licking Heights is that eventhough they win 7 or 8 games most years, they play in the small school division of the MSL. They play primarily D5 & D6 schools in the league and that makes for a fairly weak schedule. This isn't because they are afraid to play larger schools. They do a nice job scheduling up in the non-league portion of their season and the reason they're in that league is because not to0 long ago they were only D4. That area has gone through tremendous growth over the last 5 to 10 years. I think they're also leaving the MSL to get in the re-vamped LCL (Licking County League) that is forming soon.

Basically, Heights is a decent program and would have good athletes and be a difficult opponent, but Valley is kinda like Ironton. They churn out playoff type teams and generate college football players year after year. Their RB/LB from a few years ago (Storm Klein) is in the mix for a starting spot at LB for Ohio State this fall.

I witnessed a jr hi game that this years Licking Heights sr class played. It was a long time ago and I am sure players have moved out, moved in and some have developed since then. I would guess they would be faster than GAHS and that GAHS would have an advantage on the line.

That is not a creampuff schedule i don't know why you schedule a D 3 licking heights???
I can see a good possibility of a 3 win season this team is missing the one guy that kept them from having .500 season last year Wilson! Speed kills, this team has nothing close to him!
