Jackson and Ironton have been playing in Week 7 recently, so maybe it's possible that there just wasn't a way to fit the game into either, or both, team's schedules. I honestly don't know because I'm not sure what open dates each team had for that season, but I wouldn't assume that Jackson just dropped Ironton. They've played every season since 2005, with Jackson winning in 2005 and 2010, and taking the Tigers to OT in 2007.
The series has been a very good one...Jackson beat one of the better Ironton teams of that decade in 05...I would not be shocked to Jackson beat them this year.

It was Ironton who dropped JACKSON, it is a typical move on the tigers part, when they don't dominate they want out that is why they keep going back to being independent. That way they can schedule whoever they want so they can dominate.

I wouldn't put it down like that. Either team will benefit points wise for a win or loss. Might I add that the 2010 Ironton vs. Jackson game was one of the best I have ever seen.

That's funny lol.....Ironton is 4-2 against Jackson the last 6 years and a couple games have been really close.

Ironman02 may be right with Marietta leaving and us playing in week 7, their may not of been a way to work the schedules out.

05 - Jackson 17 Ironton 7
06 - Ironton 48 Jackson 20
07 - Ironton 20 Jackson 14 OT
08 - Ironton 54 Jackson 6
09 - Ironton 28 Jackson 7
10 - Jackson 26 Ironton 19

Maybe, maybe not..........Jackson will be good I'll give you that. Some people will be surprised at how good the Tigers will be next year. I see the Tigers making another run at a Regional Title and maybe more.

There's no doubt both teams will be good that white boy for ironton is an animal. I hope we get to see another great game like last year.

This doesn't apply to the 2011 version of the Ironmen, but congratulations to Klay Arthur for signing with the University of Findlay!

Looking forward to watching the Ironmen Roll just like the Tide.

Does Coach Hall farm in his spare time? I thought I saw him on four-mile road over the week end riding a Massie-Fergeson in a field. :?

ROLL TIDE!!!
