Week 9 - Northwest at West

Sucks not having the beast, but the year isn't over. Time to regroup after friday. Win this one and were probably in the playoffs.

Are we gonna change a little and become more of a passing team without the big back? Maybe run less out of the 2 tight ends and open it up? I thought Levi really throwed the ball well friday and the backs ran hard.

West is a little like Coshocton was back in 02. They lost big Dori Song to a knee injury at West and they regrouped to nearly beat us in the playoffs. He was the same type of player Trevon is, dominate at linebacker and running the ball.

By the same token, Amanda looked unbeatable last year until their RB broke his leg and after that they weren't the same, losing in the 2nd round to eventual regional champ coshocton...
Back on topic, West rolls this week and clinches a spot in the playoffs.

It Sucks that our star player is hurt but more passing means a more exciting game.

Its going to hurt on having big #8. West rolls on with all the backs stepping up big this week. As for the passing game it looked good in spots late week. #3 has got to start looking at the coverage better there were atleast 4 times i seen him throw it to the covered guy and there would be someone wide open not being covered. If we are going to go anywere in the playoffs we got to get this done.

West should win by a large margin. Hopefully the Senators will be able to develop the type of passing attack that goes from capable as a luxury to effective as a necessity. There's a difference and I really like the way West's QB throws the football. I think, if given the opportunity, he could make this transition.

West by a whole lot, JV teams will probably be in most of the second half. After losing to Valley last week, West will come in ready to play their hearts out and get themselves into the playoffs
