hope to see the tigers come out like their tails are on fire this week. last week , they sleepwalked through the first half. think things will be different tonight. tonight i'd take the ball first , if i won the toss.

tk421 wrote:With all this talk about scheduling up and down and divisions, it looks like to me that Hartley according to some on this thread has been scheduling down this year. Of the 7 games they played, 3 have been against a lower division, with one being a division 6 school. Their last 3 games are against 2 division 5 schools, plus Ironton.

I have no idea how good these teams are, but if people are going to give Ironton crap about not scheduling "up" because Hartley is in the same division, then Hartley should get crap for scheduling down.
Hartley i not scheduling down. Columbus grove, thurgood marshall, and villa-angela st. joseph were phyysical teams

Is irontons superstar Tres Wilks the one who got kicked out of the JA game for throwing punches?

to be honest I dont think its scheduling down if you play D6 or D5 teams just because they are smaller schools doesnt meant they dont have the same talent as a D1 or 2 school, thats just my opinion

Don't see Ironton losing this game.
Maybe coming out and letting everyone know they are back and will be a force to fear in the playoffs.

It's been a perfectly gorgeous day here in Ironton! Sunny and a little breezy. Temp above 70 - now down to 60 degrees. GREAT FOOTBALL WEATHER - GO IRONTON FIGHTING TIGERS

I'll be starting a separate UPDATES thread shortly so this one will be available for commentary and cheerleading.

Good job Tigers! Way to show everyone who is in control of the region. Just got back from The Tank. VERY disappointing following from the Hartley fans. On to week 9....

I stopped by this one with about 5 minutes left in the 3rd and stayed still about 5 left in the 4th. It looked like Hartley had some pretty good skill players, just not too physical up front. And TTK is right - I sat on the visitor side and there were way more Ironton fans over there than Hartley. Good win here for the Tigers. Looks like 4:15 is weaker than suspected. It looks like it's between Ironton, Coshocton, and Heath...
