No letdown, Coach Webb won't allow it. Vikings roll in Homecoming game.

SV by a ton. Big halftime score, and the freshman play the second half.

the one thing i noticed about the greyhounds,,is lack of conditioning,,after one quarter against se ,,alot of guys gassed with hands on hips....on a plus side your offense looked slick at times and you all through the play book at us.

OK, I didn't want to, but I must. My second "BIG UGLY" game of the season. Score is gonna get BIG in two quarters, and the final is gonna be UGLY. Sorry, but that is the way it is.

There is no point in making this a total blowout where no one enjoys the game on either side. Manchester is building which is great. I hope their program gets better each year. We gain nothing by running up the score. We have some freshman and sophmores and even some juniors and seniors who desire playing time. Let them get some experience and enjoy the game by being out there on the field too! Hopefully the coaching staff has this in their plans so that it is an enjoyable experience for all who come to the game. The Vikings have been on both sides of this coin and I certainly hope we are better sportmen than the ones who have caught us weak in years past and drove the point home by running up the score when they did not have too!

If you know Coach Webb, you know he is too classy to unnecessarily run up a score. IF we get a comfortable lead, I'm sure he will start subbing.

Main reasons for this:
1 - get non-starters Friday night game experience (build for the future),
2 - protect starters from injuries,
3 - avoid embarassing opponent (we've been there before and it is no fun).

Hope sv can pull this one off. Maybe Webb needs to start the second string so it might actually be a ball game worth watching. Sv with a win big over Manchester

IMO Rusty won't make it real ugly, youngin's get alot of playing time in the second half.
Rusty has class and won't embarass an opponent.

Sorry, guys, my bad. I didn't mean to imply that SV's coach would run it up, quite the contrary. The difference will be so big at half time, SV won't score in the second half, unless one of the freshman breaks one off. That was what I was trying to say. I'd never accuse SV's coaches of running up the score, I've seen your team play, and your program is a total class act. Sorry about the confusion.....
