Week Two Piketon (1-0) at Vinton Co (0-1)

Piketon travels to McCarthur this Friday to take on the Vikings for I believe the first ever meeting between these two schools in football. Piketon coming in with a win over Waverly, Vinton losing to Unioto. Have to say I dont know much about the Vikings, but Lets Go Streaks!

Piketon used to play vinton county in pee wee football. Its been a long time. After last week with cramps and mistakes, Piketon has a few things to go over this week. They have 3 great power backs, Mcdowell,Evans and Waddell. And a great QB Helton and a great back up QB Brabson. Vulgamore and others at reciever and a strong offensive and defensive line. Really I say the whole team is awesome! The work together as a family! I see Piketon coming home with a victory.

You know, those 45 minutes talks he has before every practice right? Well thats a lot of time for the boys to drink plenty of water and gatorade during the week before a game.

If the Refs let VC O-Line hold the way they did in Frenchtown last week the Vikes can make a game of this one. But Honey Well stands a better chance of getting that federal grant then the Vikes do of that happening.

VC/UHS game was plagued with a lot of cramps too. Maybe it’s the high energy drinks players are using now before games causing this.
