I believe hutch will do good things. as i told boiler in a pm every coach has to start some where and the good thing is. WHEN hutch does great things here at wellston he wont run out on the kids for a bigger school.

Wellston Ironman, Your a disgrace to your town! I played in this game and its people like you that make it out to be more than it is, its just a game! You might be the only person i've heard so far this year say anything about the game so far!

Don't worry about it Rocket 50, for a fan of DII team to sit and brag about getting wins over DIV team Wellston, and probably go on and brag about beating DIV & DV teams just shows you how talentless they are, obviously Jackson isn't that great of a team stuggled with a team that went 3-7 and beat teams like that, when the played teams their size they get absolutely stomped, but Wellston Ironman thanks for allowing us to count the number of people who dont take Jackson football serious just like the rest of their sports.

MM125, Thanks for the support! But to the topic how do we think they will do? Offensively I heard Wing-T, Power I, Single Wing, Spread, Option! How will they do running this with the players they have?

Sounds like a bunch of different offensive schemes to me. Better pick 1 or 2 and run them well. I'm not sure what all kind of players they have returning, so I won't suggest what would be best for them.

I sure hope alot of what Hutch was exposed to at O.U. and Morehead State influences his coaching. But, I have a feeling it won't. Hutch is old school and a Larry Blackstone disciple thru and thru. Wing-T and 5-2 rover defence here we come.

If Hutch follows Larry Blackstone it will be a good thing for Wellston football. Physical fundamental football will win games in this area.

Larry Blackstone was good at getting his teams strong and fundamentally sound. But, as far as game planning and schemes he was not. Football isn't just about being bigger and stronger it's also about match-ups and and positioning. If an opponent had equal or more talent than Blackstone's team they usally won.
