To answer the ptp question. Yes Lancaster does still ptp fees. I believe its $100 per sport for the athletes in high school and a little less for junior high.

I understood it was more like $300 - $400 per sport! Still $100.00 is way to much!

Go Chiefs beat the wind!

Back in the 2006-2007 school year ptp fees were $400 per sport. After voters passed an income tax levy the cost for sports went down. From what I hear from other districts around the state Lancaster's ptp fees are on the low side for school's that have the fees.

When is Logans 7 on 7's finally going to start? Last year they was starting in June I thought but Wolfe noted in the paper they was taking June off to be with their families which is good,,, Time to get err going I would think but maybe its a hint of whats to come with the offense more power running I bet...the Westfall event should be coming up soon and Logan has been there the last several years,,any idea if their still going?

Good for families....bad for football. Sounds to me like taking your foot off the gas pedal. I don't have a lot of time for my family in these economic times. I'm gone all the time and I hate it but it pays the bills. If that is what you want to do, coach the Tomahawks. I want a 24/7 coach like Dale was. Logan will go 5-5 with that type of mentality. See ya gate receipts!

Amyx probably wanted to maximize the talent he already had these last few years getting them the most reps and getting the timing down early on for a long state run,,it will be really interesting to see what happens now I can't wait!

I agree with Dazed! You never take your foot off the gas pedal. We have a lot of big holes to fill. I am very disapointed so far If this is all true? Kelly better get his butt in gear or his time at the helm will be short lived!

Can a coach be with the players during 7 on 7 in June? Or do they do this mostly on their own?

The 7 on 7s are probably not that important if they're going to be concentrating more on the running game this year and it seems like I read somewhere where the coaches can have a certain number of days with the players throughout the summer but I can't remember how many it was.Its probably on the OHSAA website.

the time for this game is quickly nearing. Over the past several years it has become a good rivalry and what better way to start the season than the Chieftains and Gales going head to head. Hopefully in continues for years to come.

GO GALES!
