Could be a trap game for Jackson Logan will be a stronger team than jackson has played so far so Logan may be the team to give jackson their first loss

Last year and even this year I think Logan thought they could be the Raiders and when they fell behind real quick it took something out of them.
It seemed like the team gave up some what after getting beat by the Raiders last year but this year I think they just knew they couldn't compete with the Columbus area schools and are setting their mines on the rest of the season. If they go down big this Friday it just might be 2010 all over.

No way is it a trap game....Logan, Ironton and Gallipolis can't be trap games against Jackson....too much positive history on those teams' side in the minds of Jackson fans, coaches and players.

jackson wins 31-7 yea logan has had a tough non conference schedule but they haven't shown any improvement at all and makes the same mistakes every game....there undisciplined, poor tackling and for some reason think they can run the spread offense i wont be surprised if they do worse than last year

Logan has lined up with a tight end, a fullback, and a tailback about 85% of the snaps.

They rarely have more than two wide receivers on the field at the same time.

They have not run a spread offense much at all. Have they thrown a lot? Yes. Have they been behind a lot? Yes. You usually pass the football when you are behind.

And Friday night Logan had had (-20+) yards rushing in the first half.

If Logan doesn't have the personnel to run the spread - what makes you think they have the personnel to run a power running game? They have a very good tailback and a pretty good fullback. But the offensive line (which is undersized) has been absolutely man-handled the last two weeks.

Logan had negative rushing yards into the 4th quarter on Friday night. If you think Logan was going to compete in that game without throwing the football, you obviously didn't see the same game I did.

I think it will be close, but look for both teams to stay perfect.

Last season set two series records:

The 49 points scored by Jackson were the most they have ever scored against Logan.

And the combined 77 points mark a new series high, but just barely. In 2000 Logan defeated the Ironmen 62-14, totaling 76 points.

I think if Logan can get their heads out of their 3rd poing of contact, this will be a very good game. They have talent, but it seems that once a mistake is made, it gets in their heads. I watched them in Lancaster and against Pick North and they really show flashes, but cannot put it together for the whole game. I thing that the play calling in those two games were questionable at times, but it all came down to the fact that they did not execute when they needed. With that said, I think that it will stay close for a half and Jackson will pull away in the second half.

Hey all, if you don't want the hassle of trying to get out of that parking lot after the game, you are more than welcome to park in my yard... of course a donation will be collected...lol.. However, no better place to park and leave without hassles as I will be watching this game instead of following my beloved NY Buckeyes.. Good Luck Logan

Hard one to call. Jackson hasn't played anyone good and Logan has played a sked so far too tough to win for anyone in SEO.

From what I hear, they better start playing better in the league or there will be trouble brewing. Still too many good athletes in Logan to be losing in the league.

Playing good D1 schools and getting beat by 30-40 doesn't mean you are going to beat a team who is undefeated winning against weaker competition. Logan has played better teams and has gotten beat pretty badly, Jackson has beat bad teams by a lot of points. The key to Jackson's success is that their D hasn't gave up a point or 100 total yards to a team yet. Logan no one knows how good they really are because they play teams obviously way better than them. My point here is to say just because Logan has played better teams has nothing to do with how well they will play this week against Jackson, and the same goes for Jackson. It is league play and it is JACKSON VS LOGAN so who knows how this game will go?!

But I honestly don't see Logan winning this game, Jackson has too much speed and talent this year. As long as they don't turn the ball over and play D like everyone knows they can, they should have no trouble beating Logan by 21 points. Like I said it is Logan vs Jackson this one could go either way!
