One of my roommates told me that eastern looked pretty good in their scrimmage.
Still have not heard anything about Southern though.

Southern 1 Portsmouth Notre Dame 0. We looked really good on the D side and need to fine tune the O side. We would of had at least and 2 or 3 TD from the D side of the ball. JV score was 1-1. They looked pretty good.

East's O Line got absolutely dominated by Tornadoes front 5. East's D Line is little and quick. It took some time for the Does to adjust to it.

east on o ran what we like 2 call the run and shot with the 2 slot set and and full back very small but quick backs and on d they were switching between a 5-3 and a 4-4 southern d looked very solid with lemley leading the d line but the whole d front was very good and the line backers stayed home for all the counters the d held east to and est. 110 total yards while on the o side of the ball southern looked alot better with a good solid night from the backs being coppick jenkins and manuel

Is Wings the originator of booby blocking or was it that Smiff guy?

How did Sean Coppick and Michael Manuel look? Will they be the centerpieces of Southern's offense?

In basketball, maybe. Football, not so much. If that booty blocking you all are grousing about means standin straight up and bumping into the guy across the line from ya I did see a lot of that in both scrimmages.

I think that their line is doing just fine. They have a good coach working with them and he is not teaching them to booby block that's for sure.

The one good thing I saw in those scrimmages is that it's danged clear to me that the basketball coach was successful in keeping them boys outta the weight room and away from lifting those danged weights. That sure will help out when them boys step on the basketball court the day after the Eastern game. Now if we can get that soccer team up and a running we can get them boys in basketball shape instead of taking a chance on gettin em hurt playing foosball.
