Athens had a good passing game going, but they went deep instead of keeping it short to intermediate where it was tearing up the Nelsonville-York secondary. Any team with and effective passing game will be able to shred the Buckeye's secondary, because the quarterback will have all day to throw if they've got a line just like Athens if not better.

I'd say if NY plays like they did the first half against Athens, they'll have problems. But if they play football like they did 9 1/2 games this year it'll be a heck of a game. Your theory doesn't hold up. But aren't you the same one that said NY was ONE DIMENSIONAL? 1800 yds passing and over 2000 rushing, doesn't sound one dimensional to me. Just sayin.

Nelsonville-York will be fine as long as they come ready to play, we can match west's physicality and this game will come down to who has the ball last!!!!

Maybe they don't want West have one? lol

I could possibly scan the one I have from the preview and post it on the trivalleyconference.com web site if that helps. Not sure how well it will show up - but its worth a try.

It's on the Logan/NY thread. Not a big secret.

Think it's on page three.

Carter may not be starting this week, but he will be back after suffering an injury vs Vinton County.

I do know we fumble alot on turf, for whatever reason. We can play 4 quarters in a mud bath and never fumble. Quite confusing.

It seems to me West plays better when they act as if they have something to prove, like against burg. Games like Valley, where I think we were a little full of ourselves, we struggle.

Time to step up if they want to advance. We are a good team. Good enough to go a long ways if they play determined and get some breaks. But they must play determined for 4 quarters like they did last night.

We have to sure up the penalties department. Almost 100 yards of penalties is extreme. Our kick coverage has to get better. And one thing I really really don't understand is why do we let our extra point kicker stand for all that time without stretching and kicking. He needs a net and needs to be kicking during the game. He is a good kicker. But it isn't fair to the kid to be stationary in 40 degree weather for an extended period of time and then go out for a crutial PAT. Would really suck to loose a game by 1.
i know about both teams.

NY resembles valleys offense ALOT! but does not have the big oline or the talented players like keller. they do have speed but i think west wins bc theyll be able to dominate the line. west will eat the clock with auger and bricker. i dont think NY can handle the strenght the siders bring to the table. Now this is just from watching 3 pw games and one NY game vs wellston ( which NY won i think 49-7??) but NY does have a very good QB and WR that will catch. West doesnt turn the ball over hardly and from what i hear NY does alot. if the offense cant keep the D off the feild west win because they can control the clock. i say west 21 NY 7

'74 was one for the ages.
Tipton's outside veer too quick for Boston's Buckeyes.
21-0 Siders at the end of the first quarter.
Game called with just under 4 Minutes to go in the 4th quarter due to excessive fighting and unsportsmanlike penalties.
Wrong community to pick a fight with.

I think West may as well get ready for Valley in the finals, This one is a sleeper. I mean they are small and quick but with little talent. West is way to big to lose to a smaller team. And talk about Physical, Ny doesnt want any of that. You guys just rest up and play your JV the second half. No need to get your starters all tired and stuff. They have way more important games to play than this one in little ole Nelsonville. ;-)

I'm thinking NY doesn't have much talent. Pay no attention to that running back that's rushed for a couple yds and a few td's. No talent tho.
