Alders crowd was decent when they came to Logan, but didn't come close to filling the visitors side,unless they all travel for playoff games there will be plenty of tickets to go around for everybody,,can't imagine that place more packed than opening night in 2008 and there were supposedly only 4568 for that one,,how much are the tickets prices this year? thought I saw somewhere they were 9 bucks a pop if you didn't get them in advance....

Well, it's almost Friday. Looking forward to making the trip to Logan tomorrow night.

I think this game really comes down to the battle at the line of scrimmage, maybe even more so than usual. Alder has a big, physical O-line and they're content to pound the football if they can. Jackson has been good against the run all season, but they will be giving up a lot of size on the defensive front. Barr and company have been able to use their quickness and understanding of leverage to compensate for the fact that they're undersized all season. They'll have to play their best game of the year to keep Alder's linemen off the Jackson linebackers. If the Ironmen can force Alder to throw the football more than they want to, then they should have a shot.

On the other side of the ball, the Jackson offensive line will have to play its best game of the season, by far, for the offense to have success. Jackson's skill players pose a problem for any defense, but in order for them to be effective, the guys up front have to neutralize Alder's front seven. I would put Osborne, Ervin, Landrum, and McNelly up against anyone and feel confident that they can make plays, so hopefully the O-Line will give them that chance.

This has been an amazing season for Jackson, but I'm not ready for it to end, and I know the Ironmen aren't either. Alder has an oustanding football team, and it will take a nearly flawless effort to beat them, but I think Jackson is capable of doing just that. The game plan has been put in place, all the preparation is done, and now it's all about executing.
