Steven McLaughlin honored @ Athens High School

Steven McLaughlin was chosen as Athlete of the Year for the 2008-2009 school year. I believe this is the first time a wrestler has been given this honor. 2 time State Qualifier and respectful young man. Way to go Steven we are proud of you!! The Team and the Parents will miss you next year.

Congratulations to Steven for being named Male Athlete of the Year for Athens High School! He has worked so hard and is such an accomplished wrestler. I have enjoyed watching him wrestle the last three seasons and will miss watching him next year. I wish him all the best as he moves on to the next stage of his life.
Thank you, also, to Coach Kaiser who cares so much about his athletes.

i was unaware of this congratulations to him he's earned it. I still think Jared Weinfurtner should've gotten it back in the 90's for being a 3 time state placer but thats just me.
