Wrestling at Fairland


The Coaches of the Fairland High School and Middle School Wrestling programs will be offering clinics for younger student athletes starting with 4yr olds through 6th grade who want to wrestle in our league and 7th grade and up can train for open tournaments. We have several parents who have volunteered to help with these clinics. Biddy League Wrestling programs are popping up all over the country and we want to give children in our area the opportunity to join in.

The athletes will be trained two evenings a week in the basics of wrestling. The month of January will consist of training while February and March will consist of training and Open Tournaments for these young wrestlers. Wrestling at the biddy league level starts at 4 years of age in most tournaments. Wrestling gives athletes of all shapes and sizes the opportunity the succeed. All football players are encouraged to attend since many football coaches recommend their players wrestle and believe the skills learned will benefit them on the field.

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30-6:30
