Outstanding Marks for 2022 Track season Outdoor you have seen

Lets talk about some athletes and outstanding performances we have seen outdoor already.

Washington CH meet we had our Freshman Long Jumper go 21-1 in long jump. This was his first time ever long jumping he also hit over 20ft twice .

I noticed three boys for Alexander went under 12.00 in their meet.

Portsmouth Boys 4x100 45.23 (beat Alexander by almost 2 seconds on a frigid night and FAT) and Coal Grove Girls 4x400 went 4:17 on same cold night.

9th grader Chloe Sater went 10' 03' at the Rocky Brands to take first place

Those are 2 excellent marks early in the season! Portsmouth has had good 4x1 over the past few years . I hope they stay healthy thats a great time and that vault is awesome. Where is the vaulter slater from?


Also on a side not OHSAA is switching everything to oh milesplit. So most results will be there . I paid for a subscription so if you need results let me know

Chloe is from Logan...I have a subscription to Milesplit too. Been on there for several years now. It is a great info site. Thanks

Erica Durst of Eastern R. set a Rocky Brands record in the 800M with a time of 2:20.34

Best I’ve seen this year…..Hamm kid at Coal Grove ran a 4:52 mile in his first meet

He’s in the 7th grade

Cole Miller & Mike Perrone for PV are both having outstanding seasons so far, especially in the jumping events.

Cameron Walker of Unioto set a new record in the 800 with a time of 2:32.82 at Amanda on 04/20/22

also set a record in the 1600 with a time of 5:27.25 in the same meet

Every event nearly and weren’t same kids (except Carr in hurdles) I don’t think any relay actually had their top 4

Think she ran a 27:48 today and Lj was 16' 05" Was told today her best 100m is 12.90
