SE District Athletes in the State Meet

The meet has been going on all day and here are the results so far for SE district runners:

STATE CHAMPIONS:

Jamie Sindelar of Athens won the Discus

Logan Rowe of Washington Court House won the High Jump

TOP 8 in the State:

Dylan Dyke of Waverly was 2nd in the Shot Put

Emma Ryan of Warren Local was 3rd in the Discus

Breydon Gates of Belpre was 4th in the 1600

Kyle Connery of Eastern Meigs was 4th in the 400 meter

Sarah Clow of Sheridan was 5th in the Discus

Taylor Baker of Paint Valley was 7th in the Discus

Ironton Boys 4x800 Team was 7th

Dylan Osborne of Chillicothe was 9th in the Long Jump

Dylan Fewster of Paint Valley was 9th in the Shot Put

Hannah Zimmerman of Westfall was 9th in the High Jump

Washington Court House Girls 4x100 team finished 10th missing the finals by .02 seconds

Logan Marrko of Paint Valley was 10th in the 1600

Travis Blevins of Oak Hill was 10th in the High Jump

Greg Bender of Coal Grave was 10th in the Shot Put

Tyler Campbell of Gallia Academy was 10th in the Long Jump

Zane Trace Girls 4x800 Team finished 10th

Tim Morrell of Paint Valley finished 11th in the 110 hurdles and 12th in the 300 meter hurdles

Gallia Academy Girls 4x100 Team finished 11th

Karena Fulks of Jackson finished 12th in the 100 meter

Hannah Watts of Gallia Academy finished 12th in the 400 meter

Taylor Savage of Trimble finished 12th in the Long Jump

Nate Smith of Circleville finished 12th in the Pole Vault

Marybeth Boyden of Sheridan finished 12th in the Discus

Paint Valley Boys 4x800 Team finished 13th

Gallia Academy Girls 4x800 team finished 13th

Mikey Watson of Peebles finished 14th in the Shot Put

Katie Dodd of Logan Elm finished 14th in the High Jump

Chillicothe Boys 4x800 Team finished 14th

Adena Boys 4x100 Team finished 15th

Cody Belville of Portsmouth East finished 15th in the 200 meter

Felicia Peabody of greenfield McClain finished 15th in the 400 meter

Tre Campbell of South Point finished 16th in the Long Jump

Ally Rohrer of Waterford finished 16th in the 400 meter

Jessica Hager made finaLs in 300 h and finished 14 in 200. Katie Blodgett runs the 3200 tomorrow

Both are from River Valley

What stood out for me in the division 2 meet results.

4th place Gallia Academy boys 4/400 3:22.14

4th place Minford boys 4/100 42.79

WOW!!!!!!!! Some very impressive times if I might say so myself.

Blair from Logan finished 2nd in the shot with a throw of 61' 11 1/4"

Every throw better than his seed!!! An improvement of approx 6 feet from seed (55-7). Talk about bringing it when it matters.
