east ( sciotoville ) track and field 2009 season outlook

looks to be an even better team this year than last years mighty 14 members tell me what you think we have all reterning exsept shawn wright and josh kilgore

I hear they are going to be very dominant in the throws in the SOC this year.

14-2=12

Do you have any good incoming freshman? 12 people is a tiny track team.

I would not expect a very good outlook. All 12 members of your team will
be dog tired. Being dominant in throws will not be enough, I think that you may
have to do multiple events.

Good Luck this season.

ps. How did last years team do?

last years team finished out 2nd in the s.o.c beating out northwest who had 75 members were east had only 14

there are some big names coming out this year who have been taking a brake look for some thunder from Jacob Howard and a improved Josh B something

The following are results from the Southern Ohio Conference Track and Field Meet, held on Tuesday, May 13, and Wednesday, May 14, 2008.

BOYS TEAM SCORING
DIVISION I – 1. South Webster 64, 2T. Notre Dame 29 and Sciotoville Community 29, 3. Eastern 26, 4. Western 8, 5. Green 5.

So what events does East look to be competive in besides throws?

Id like to say sprinting and a 4 -x- 1 we have never been good at distance oooooo and watch out for Jesica mecalister in hurdles

I don't think so...

Not only did Northwest have about twice the points but you are not even in the same division. Or are you talking about one particular race? East had a good 4x1 team.

East still has to get past South Webster, who lost a lot due to graduation (But still have 3 out of 4 4x8 runners, and all of their 4x4 district championship team). Also heard they have a good miler coming up. And after that you have to worry about Notre Dame, who has a person with the capability of scoring 30 points himself...

Though I am interested in hearing some of East's times last year for the people returning...
