Chillicothe girls take 1st and Cavalier boys take 2nd in the Dragon Early Bird 2 Miler at Fairland. Cavs boys and Rock Hill each had 4 finishers in the top 12, so a tight race between those 2 schools. Cavs girls had 3 finishers in the top 10.

The teams from Huntington are they from WV?

I don't recall seeing any Huntington jerseys during the HS varsity races. If they ran the junior high race, I'm assuming Huntington WV.

I thought it was because the names were not matching up

Nice team of good kids. Coach is a great guy. We edged them today at Southeastern and their kids were congratulatory. They have a big pack of kids running solid now and by the big league meet and postseason they should be running real good times to give them great depth. Should easily win the FAC

The Cavs ended up running in the Aaron Reed Memorial Invite at Southeastern on 9/17, since the Bobcat Invitational was cancelled. Both boys and girls teams took 2nd. Cavs boys placed 9th in the large school division at the Bob Reall Invite at Lancaster, and the girls took 10th. Lots of competition from the larger central Ohio schools, but both teams improved their averages. The Lancaster course is beautiful!
