I think it will have more to do with ZT winning the league (if they indeed do) instead of one kid being a senior and the other kid being a junior. I do not always agree that the POY should go to the best player on the best team, but if all the stats are similar between two kids, I think team success...

Both players are deserving; you couldn't go wrong with either. That being said, my vote would be Maxwell. Those who say he has a better supporting cast are right, but that's just a testament to him still being able to put up the big numbers. Plus, he makes everyone around him better.

I think Burg will win it. Great all around program and a solid nucleus of returning players (even though they lost some big bats). Elliott is the top pitcher around. I think Valley will finish second. They were pretty decent last year and have most of their lineup coming back.

Adena will be good; having Yates as a coach is a huge asset. Piketon and ZT both return a lot as well.

I agree with Sports 101. The numbers are so close between Legg and Maxwell, it should go to the kid whose team wins the league.

Adena and ZT will be near the top, and Westfall and Unioto will also be right in the mix.

What a game! Even though both teams made some mistakes the game was extremely exciting. Outstanding effort by both teams.

Should be a good game; there have been some great meetings between the two teams in the tournament over the past decade.

I hear the same thing about Crooksville pitching being solid. The Ceramics deserved a better tournament seed but didn't get a lot of help from the SVC or TVC teams in the district.

Even though Wheelersburg hung two on Adena earlier in the year, I think both teams are very, very even. I could see it going either way.
