I doubt that Caldwell is all that good next year, they have 11 seniors and only one junior. #78 for Caldwell is the real deal and wrecked havoc on Eastern once Will went out.

Meigs has Kassidy Betzing coming up who has jumped well over 16' and runs the 100 around 13.3. Also Madison fields runs the 800 in the mid 2:30's. Both viable addictions. Athens got third at the TVC, Meigs got second but had the eighth grade trip the week of the MOC, just throwing thay out there

Meigs went to a flat maroon helmet with a black facemask. Then the old school Buccaneers logo with the blade in its mouth. Two color with the face gold and rest is black. Pretty sharp

Michael Davis hands down. He is tied for second for most individual touchdowns in a single game in the state of ohio. Also he missed about 6-8 minutes of the third!!!

i know that they are picking up meigs next year. not sure which week or if it is home or away...if i had to guess it would be AT ironton because meigs plays coal grove and fairland at home next year, so i would think that they would split those up so we don't have three long trips in the same season.

my understanding, not sure if correct, is that meigs will be d2 when they go to sectionals. If meigs was to go to something like the state duals then they would compete with the d3 teams. who knows why they made two separate cutoffs

It was great to see the two coaches get together and let #43 run in a 2pt conversion late in the game. This boy have beaten cancer 3 times and I remember last year at a wrestling meet that he weighed in at about 85 lbs but was just as happy as could be. Um it depends, if he has his meniscus taken out the down time will be 3-4 weeks, if he has it stitched up it will be 3-4 months. I think that hes suppose to have the surgery next week sometime, so we will have to see.
