FNF, How can you win games when you don't even have enough players to play? Did you even know they had to cancel games because they didn't have enough to play? The situations with Coach Kitchen and the previous coach (Coach Hopper) are not even remotely related. Coach Hopper was not re-hired as the basketball coach because the BOE did not believe he won enough games with the talent he had. They didn't say he wasn't a good educator or a good man...............

The reason I ask is because I believe they do have the talent to win some games. I feel the distractions have hurt them badly. They were up by 17 against N.D. and it got away from them. It seems to have gone downhill from there.

If the coach is talking to his players about this website there are some major problems. Maybe he should have spent that time talking about his press breaker.

I'm not saying I agree with the Coach's decision, but if the school board steps in on this they will never find a respectable coach to come here. Just let the coach do his job! Everyone is not going to agree with all decisions that are made...........you just shouldn't be able to run to the school b...

The player I am talking about plays for Ironton High School. He lives behind the school, and his mother is a teacher at Green. He is an excellent player who would automatically take our program to another level. I will not mention any names.

This whole thing is rediculous........and people wonder why Green keeps losing kids to other schools. I could go right down the road to Wheelersburg and get an ALL STAR team of kids that live in The Furnace or whose parents were excellent student athletes at Green who chose not to let their children...

I guess it isn't good to have an ace pitcher. That way no players or parents get their feelings hurt when the coach has to decide who is going to pitch in the championship game. Heck.............just let everyone on the team pitch an inning! That is one of the silliest things I have ever heard.
