Re: TVC Hocking
I think Trimble has the best team going in. I think Theriault from Belpre is the best player in the league. If he gets some help Belpre will be tough to beat. Fed has the best coach in the league. It will be interesting to see how much Caldwell gets out of his players. Wolfe from Southern is a prett...

Re: TVC Hocking
Big Shooter I take it you never watched Southern last year. They weren't strong in the post. I thought they played one man ball. I wasn't impressed with what I watched over the summer either. Good luck on that new gym theory too it never panned out to well for Jackson and Gallia.

Re: Athens schedule update: SEOAL teams drop Athens
Lets face it the SEOAL isn't what it used to be. Teams have dropped out and most of the teams left have fallen on hard times. I don't see much difference in the TVC and the SEOAL from top to bottom now days. TVC on par with the SEOAL. I think not. Last season in head to head competition it was 10-7...

Re: Athens schedule update: SEOAL teams drop Athens
Athens wasn't doing so well in some sports while in the SEOAL. I think a lot of their boys were staying away because of being down in some sports. Athens needed to start winning to get kids interested and by going to a league that had smaller school has done this. It has worked for them cause now t...
Re: Southern
The 6'7'' kid (pape's brother) and the kid that moved in from meigs are both returning pitchers. Plus the johnson kid has a good arm According to maxpreps they only have one player with a winning record coming back and that is a 2-1 record with a 4.97 era. This is a far cry from the pitching Southe...
Re: Southern
Who is going to be the new coach? Someone who doesn't care about failing. Southern pitching has finally ran dry after seven years. Whoever takes this job is not going to look good after the past success and lack of stud pitchers. Good luck to whoever takes it. Next years team has some really good p...

Re: 2013 Trimble Tomcats
I think Trimble will win the league but it will be a little harder since Wahama has a move in QB.

Re: TVC Hocking
I look for Trimble and Belpre to be the favorites and I wouldn't count Fed Hock out. This will be another down year in the Hocking as a whole.

Re: Athens schedule update: SEOAL teams drop Athens
Logan will be playing VC twice and I was told they are also going to play Wellston in place of Athens. go figure. Have you heard the saying cut your nose off to spite your face. That is what Logan just did. Replacing a rival game against a D2 power with an average at best D3 team. There is a money ...

Re: Who will replace Athens on GAHS cage schedule?
This is probably good for both teams. This gives Athens a chance to schedule up. Playing teams like GAHS and Jackson aren't helping Athens get ready for a tournament run. This will also let the new GAHS coach to schedule down and maybe pick up a win. Looks like a win-win situation for both teams.

Other than have great facilities there is not much here to attract an established winning coach.

Wholly_Shnikeys out of curiosity why would Harrison be the front runner? If you look at coaching resumes Ater is the only one with any head coaching success.

It seems to me he might be even more strict than Hill based on his background. If people at RV couldn't handle Hill's style, how is this gonna work? OK this will upset some but it's the truth. Maybe he's the best guy for the job?.........Turns out Quinns wife is Lovell Forgey who is related to The ...

I can't believe an established winning coach hasn't applied for this job. Great facilities and history here, maybe it has something to do with how they did Oz?

Re: River Valley Coaching Search
I am guessing they will end up with a first time head coach. If it is a young coach it could be a career killer for them.I don't really understand why this school isn't more successful at sports. It is not just basketball but all sports. This leads a person to think maybe coaching isn't the problem....

If the rumor is true that Barrick is no longer at the burg than anyone with an opening that doesn't go after him are idiots.
