Went out again today, had to fight the rabbit hunters, but still came up empty handed.... that 16 hours with 2 sheds.... every year gets a little worse!

The crown city mines is great if you can find a honey hole and keep people out of it! I love shed hunting out there.. ya neber know what you're going to find!!

Found my fourth and fifth sheds of the season today. The fifth one i found was the first fresh shed though.... seen a buck still packing both sides on my way home...

Got lucky last season and killed two bird ( both gun kills) i had only killed one bird prior to last season.

I have usually already found a few by now, but since all the snow has the hills covered i am staying in until i can see the ground... compared to 4-5 years ago when i started shed hunting, there is sooo many people out now looking for them... its almost impossiable to find them anymore! i do good to...

I have a ton of Coyotes here in KY. I get at least 1 coyote pic to ever 5 deer pics on my trail camera. I think this Coyote is unusual looking... but i havent seen a lot of them either.. i had him at 50 yards the first day of KY season but couldnt get a clear shot. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/...

bows, unlike guns decrease in value over time... id say 20-30 dollars tops... arrows are prolly worth more then the bow...

lol... i think i might be stationed close to that one ;) I actually have 10 different bucks that are 125 or better on that one mineral site... the big bucks have pretty much stopped hitting the minerals and transitioned to the beans... Its really all about how much money you want to spend....check out chasingame.com there are A LOT of camera reviews on there. Hope it helps. I prefer the DLC Covert2. Super fast trigger speed, long distance, great IR pics, about the size of a popcan, and the batteries last forever ( had the same set...

Yeah i know the dates are wrong on the one cam i have out. I have to take a remote in to set the date and time and the mosquitos are terriable in there for some reason... i try to make it a quick in and out process. Ill try to fix them next time in.

I have seen more coyotes in the past 2 years then ever before! When i first started hunting about 7 years ago it was unheard of to see a yote! Went and checked my camera and was a little disappointed... didnt have any of my big bucks hit my minerals the past two weeks... I think next time i head in ...

Black Bear in Crown City

My brother went to check his cameras today, and i met up with him at his house to see what he had. This camera was setup in the Crown City Strip Mines wildlife area. Only had this one picture of him.
