Re: Michael Hall Joins 1000 Point Club
I'm going to be honest Hall scored 1000 and that's good, but I think people thinks he's better than what he actually is, kind of overrated. WOW!!?? Congrats on a great career Michael Hall. This guy is just being a troll. He has posted similar things on other threads. Even if they have added games f...

I'm keenly aware of who they play and how good of a team they have.domain master wrote:Not a hater, just a realist. Check out Wilmington's non-league, then get a clue.

Re: Best pure shooter from this area???
yea, everything Whiteoak, Manchester, North Adams, Fairfield and Fayetteville can throw at you. I can see how that would really be impressive to a big time college coach. Again, apples to apples. Drownin in the hateraid. Big time college coaches recruit the AAU circuit, I'm sure they care about how...

Re: Best pure shooter from this area???
Shooting skills like standing in the gym at lunch shooting threes, or a three point shooting contest? The difference is defensive pressure being applied by D1 athletes that Wilmington and others face. Not the pressure being applied by the SHAC teams. Big difference. Stats dont always tell the whole...

Re: Best pure shooter from this area???
Beau is a good high school player. U can't compare to d1 players like Ibi Watson or Cumberland who are 6'7 and will probably start for a big 10 team. Watson and Cumberland are both about 6'5". Beau had a decent amount of D1 interest as well, obviously not at the Big 10 level though. I can't bl...

Re: Division 4 Sectional at Northwest
I agree that Peebles doesn't really care to play them again and realistically they would probably win. With that being said, there isn't anyone that can say that Peebles wants a shot of PV in the tournament before the regionals. They want PV as far away from them as they can get, so you best believ...

Miles Bridges is a freak of nature. Worth the admission just to watch him warm up.

Re: sat. 2/7 games/updates
In reply to Indianalum88's post on the other thread. Paint Valley has losses against Lynchburg and Zane Trace ,who Peebles beat by a large margin in both instances. That being said, Paint Valley brings some challenges in the post that Peebles has yet to face this year(with West Union being the only ...

I also like the Garrett kid at Waverly and a few of Eastern Pike's guards as well as far as the original topic is concerned.

Re: Best pure shooter from this area???
My apologies for taking this thread off topic..lol I guess my perspective when assessing basketball players might be a bit different from most other viewers. As a former college player now in his early 30's, I normally do not comment on comparisons between players unless I have some sort of persona...

Re: Best pure shooter from this area???
Chase Lawson, an SHL Alum plays and sees significant minutes at Wheeling Jesuit. Same league as W. Liberty. Jesuit beat W. Liberty twenty a couple weeks ago. If we are just talking best shooter it would be hard not to mention him. IMO. I also think Blake was a better "shooter" then Beau. ...

Re: Best pure shooter from this area???
Wilmington just beat Dayton Wayne. You should have stopped at best shooter. No WAY is Justice a better player than Cumberland (either one). You are comparing apples to oranges. Peebles is in a weak league and plays weak teams (SHL is down even for their standards). Wilmington is one of the most dom...

Re: Best pure shooter from this area???
Beau is a PHENOMENAL shooter, and clearly one of the most prolific scorers in all of southeast Ohio...I'd love to have him on my team, but lets not get carried away BlackCobra...He is NOT better than Jaevin Cumberland, not even in the same category. Wilmington has played Moeller, CovCath, Huber Hei...

Re: Saturday 1/31 Games
I believe summit country day is very young. So is Kentucky, it's not hurting them. This is the same team that beat Ripley by 50. Evan Davis, a senior, is their best player and one of the better players in the greater Cincinnati area in D3/4.. SCD is better than any team Peebles has played this seas...
