Burrow, Ibi Watson and Zacchia Saltzman have been fabulous for Athens. Saltzman has been named MVP at the two holiday "tourney" events--Marietta College and Chesapeake...Burrow coming on strong and Ibi has been steady and important all year. Lots of great bulldogs!

Hope the strong Bulldog following continues as this is a big game. Hopefully a large number of students can also attend...not sure what the weather will be. I believe we played down there on a Tuesday last year, so that makes it tough.

I understand the situation and how letters are earned. There are in fact exceptions. If you are trying to bring in kickers, especially if they attend practices and team dinners and such then they should be eligible for a letter. I would go with Tanner Wood or Alex Tritipo...Athens Bulldogs defeated Jackson. Joey Burrow was great with his legs, accounting for 85% of the Athens offense...but defense was led by those two seniors!

Joey Burrow...amazing. Come watch him play. Yes, he has talented receivers...but he is THE REAL DEAL!

Believe it or not...he was even MORE impressive week 3...Should get it again!
