Ironton super-sophs lead way - Shaun Terry with 23 points, 5 assists, and Braden Schreck with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. The win (14-6, 10-3) clinches runner-up spot in OVC to South Point.

IMO, it was no coincidence that South Point, Fairland, and Portsmouth were all voted into the same district sub-bracket. Nobody outside the OVC wants to face any of those squads in the early rounds.

No poll is perfect. This Martin RPI is as good as any of the others, though being an Ironton fan, I don’t like the Tigers behind Gallia after beating them twice this year, home and away.

My kids graduated from Hurricane HS in WV 15 years ago, buddy. It’s too early to tell if my 9 month old grandson is a prospect.

Maybe, maybe not. Tiger hoops had a nice summer, and will feature at least six guys 6-3 or taller. One of those is 6-3 shooting guard Braden Schreck, a rising sophomore and legit college prospect.

11 home games out of 22 total. Schedule is more condensed since the first two weeks of games got re-set due to football.
