Minford 7th and 8th both beat Gallia Academy. Not sure of exact scores but neither game was close. Good job Falcons!

West v. Waverly is too tough to call. It took Minford 3 ot's to beat them. Score at end of regulation was 0-0. So far that has got to be the game of the year. Both West and Waverly are fast and physical, good luck to both teams and hope they stay injury free!

We have had a couple teams drop out on us so there are multiple Thursdays that we can play. Any team out there interested please post on here. Thanks!

Ulimately it is the parents decision on what to do here. A lot of good advice being posted by some smart people.

As long as he is doing well in school I see no reason to hold him back. Being good in sports is great and all but the grades are what it's all about. Sports are secondary.

Maybe do away with waivers all together. Make each kid play in district they live in.

Why did it take so long to find out about the players who were ineligible? Everyone had to turn in their player information at the meeting before the tournament started, but I heard burg did not show up. Now every team that was beaten by burg has a legitimate argument. Why don't they have to forfeit...

Now burg gets to play today, having not played since Monday. That means all of their pitchers are good to go.

I feel bad for the Rock Hill team for traveling all the way to South Webster a couple days in a row and not playing. They practiced on the unused field this evening so the trip wouldn't be a total loss.

I wonder what that will do to the tournament if they are disqualified?
